One day, John Nolan and his instructor Thalia, along with Officer Tim Bradford, who was very serious and strict at work, and his rookie Lucy Chen, were taken on patrol in a descent into the woods. An old bomb, supposedly left behind during World War II after a bombing raid on Los Angeles in 1943 by the Nazis, had been found there. They were searching the area and its surroundings to secure the perimeter for the bomb squad to defuse the giant bomb in the middle of the woods. But it was already dusk, Nolan says, sitting on a fallen log.
Phew... We'd better sit down for a while. We've been around this place for a long time, and at least the area is safe until the bomb squad arrives.
Thalía nods and says, equally tired, as she sits down next to Nolan
I'll grant you that this time, rookie, I got tired too.
Lucy sits on the floor and says wearily, turning off her flashlight.
I can't take it anymore, I'd better sit down for a while.
Tim, being serious and strict as always, remained standing impassive.
Lazybones... Well, we only rested for 5 minutes before continuing to walk.
