Jungkook was tired. He was terribly tired of Taehyung's behavior, even though he'd been in a relationship with him for several years. The problem was, whenever a problem arose, it was easier for Taehyung to withdraw, put on an icy mask of indifference, and act as if that's how things were supposed to be. Attempts to discuss it led nowhere, and if the conversation became too emotional, Taehyung would withdraw completely, ignoring Jungkook entirely, and only returning to his usual self after a while.

At first, Jungkook had been patient. He'd waited, tried to get through to him, and happily welcomed him back when Taehyung finally "thawed." But now... Now he no longer had the strength or desire to do so. Besides, it felt like Taehyung was doing it on purpose.

Taehyung had started acting cold once again. For what Jungkook thought was the most idiotic reason: he'd come home from work later than usual and had fallen asleep in his work clothes due to fatigue, without even approaching Taehyung.

Now Jungkook was sitting on the couch, drinking tea, staring at his phone, and trying not to think. If he needed to, Taehyung would come over himself. However, he no longer had any desire to contact him.

"Jungkook, I missed you," Taehyung emerged from the bedroom, still in his pajamas. He hesitated at the threshold, as if hesitant to approach, then took a few steps and lightly hugged Jungkook's shoulders, standing behind him. Jungkook didn't remove his hand, didn't pull away, and didn't react in any way.

“Uh, I see,” he said shortly, without even looking up from the screen.
