Taehyung finally decided to dedicate Saturday to something he'd long put off due to his endless studying—reading for pleasure. The shelves were groaning with books he'd bought in a fit of enthusiasm, but he rarely found time for them. Studying for exams, looming graduation, and the quiet, aching melancholy that all of this would soon be a thing of the past... But for now, he tried not to dwell on the sad things.

Clutching a small stack of books to his chest, Taehyung walked through the park in search of a cozy spot where he could spend the next few hours in peace and quiet.

Suddenly, a familiar voice was heard from somewhere to the side, and a second later someone on a skateboard flew into him at full speed.

Taehyung didn't even have time to scream before he crashed to the ground along with the board's owner. The books flew in all directions and landed with a disgusting squelch right in a puddle. To top it all off, he hit his elbow painfully.

"Are you looking around, or are your eyes meant to be pierced?" Taehyung hissed irritably, rising to his feet and brushing off his stained pants.

Jungkook, who had already managed to stand up and pick up his skateboard, turned his gaze to his classmate and grinned in his usual, unbearable manner.

"Forgive me," he drawled, looking Taehyung over lazily. "But you're the one who doesn't look around. You walk like a snail, and that's why they crash into you."
