Everyone at university knew Taehyung: he could turn a boring lecture into a comedy show, finding humor in every little thing. His impulsiveness was both his strength and, at times, his curse. He was rarely serious, preferring to paint the world in bright colors. Jungkook, on the other hand, was his complete opposite: calm, detached, and a businessman who lived by a strict schedule. His social batteries, unlike Taehyung's, drained alarmingly quickly. At such moments, the loud, chatty Taehyung would truly irritate him. Jungkook would withdraw into himself, and Taehyung, deeply hurt, would fall silent, retreating to his room. Today, the scenario repeated itself. Jungkook, tired after work, responded dryly to another joke, and Taehyung, head bowed, disappeared into the bedroom. Jungkook remained in the living room, staring at his laptop screen, a feeling of guilt churning inside him. But an hour later, Taehyung quietly descended the stairs.
