Sagitta Maya

Maya is a young man with fair skin and an athletic build due to the training he underwent to become a Saint. His age is unknown, although his appearance suggests he could be around 20 years old. His black hair is combed back and he has fairly long sideburns that reach a little below his neck. His face is thin with a triangular chin, and his eyes are blue.

He is known to be a Legendary Saint who was once loyal to Athena, but after being forgotten in history, he generated resentment towards the Saints and Athena, so he gave his loyalty to Eris in exchange for a new life. He is a warrior who fully trusts his abilities and is proud of his legend, even stating that if you are a Saint you should know his name. He was known for being a great hunter, claiming to have never lost a prey, this led him to be recognized as "the hunter of death."

When Maya was still alive, he and the Silver Saints confronted and defeated the Ghosts who accompanied Eris, while Athena confronted Eris and at the end of the battle managed to seal her enemy's soul in the golden apple. He was considered a great hero and was known for never having lost a prey, being called "the hunter of death", but after his death he fell into oblivion, which caused him to decide to serve the goddess Eris in exchange for a new life in the current century. The Repulse comet crosses the skies of planet Earth and from it the golden apple where the soul of the goddess Eris was imprisoned is detached. Thus, the soul of the evil goddess calls a young woman to possess her body and begin her resurrection. After this, the goddess resurrects a group of five Saints who perished in ancient battles to serve as her personal army. The next morning, Eris in Erii's body surprises Saori when she was riding a horse and kidnaps her. Saori wakes up in the Temple of Eris trapped in a stone cross. Erii appears there, but upon closer examination, Saori realizes that this person is not Erii, but Eris. Saori tells her that she is not afraid of her, as she has her Saints who will always protect her, to which Eris responds with a laugh and with her staff sends a message to the Bronze Saints to come and rescue her. Eris is not afraid, as she has the protection of the Ghost Saints, ancient Saints who have been brought back to life by the power of the goddess. After this, Eris approaches Saori and places the golden apple on her chest so that it slowly absorbs her vital energy and can fully revive and sends the Ghost Saints to defeat Athena's Saints.

During the invasion of the Temple of Eris, each of the Bronze Saints goes their own way. Amidst ruins and destroyed columns, Seiya meets Maya and, after a brief introduction, they begin a fight in which they exchange blows. Seiya attacks with his Pegasus Ryūsei Ken, but Maya creates illusory copies of himself to evade the blows and counterattacks with his Hunting Arrow Express, putting his opponent in trouble, who barely manages to dodge the attack. While Maya's rain of arrows continues, Seiya only focuses on dodging the attack, but realizes that he will not be able to dodge them for long, then Maya uses her Phantom Arrow to confuse Seiya, but he decides to use his Pegasus Ryūsei Ken, which now manages to hit Maya's body and mortally wound him. After unsuccessfully trying to revive his opponent in order to obtain information, Seiya realizes that one of Maya's arrows has lodged in his body, but he removes it without giving it any importance and continues on his way. As Seiya walks away, Maya regains consciousness for a few seconds and says that the arrows contain a powerful poison that will lead to his opponent's death. As he finishes saying these words, he falls dead.

•Hunting Arrow Express: Maya raises her left arm and points it at her opponent, and from the part of her armor located on her forearm, a shower of countless arrows is fired, among which are mixed illusory arrows and real poisoned arrows, to deceive her target. •Power Spine Arrow: Maya raises both arms and launches a burst of energy arrows (which are illusions except for five that are difficult to locate due to the speed at which they travel) that spin around in a spiral. •Dark Spin Arrow: This involves creating a black arrow of dark energy that is launched along with a shower of dark energy arrows that explode upon contact with the target. •Phantom Arrow: Maya raises her right arm in the direction of her opponent and projects a shower of arrows towards him. These arrows are just an illusion created to confuse the senses or sight of her opponents. With this distraction, she manages to connect her attack against the opponent while he is confused.
