Christ of the Southern Cross

Christ is a young man with fair skin and an athletic build due to the training he underwent to become a Saint. His age is unknown, although his appearance suggests he could be around 20 years old. His blond hair reaches just below his neck and is disheveled. His face is thin with a triangular chin and his eyes are green; the most notable feature of his face is his bushy unibrow.

He is known to be a Legendary Saint who was once loyal to Athena, but after being forgotten in history, he generated resentment towards the Saints and Athena, so he gave his loyalty to Eris in exchange for a new life. Christ is far from being the symbol of what a Saint should be, as he does not hesitate to attack an opponent from behind or who is lying injured on the ground. He seems overconfident with the power and ability he possesses, as he claimed that he could eliminate Hyōga.

Christ is a former Silver Saint who died in an ancient war for which there is no record. The only thing known is that during the current century, he decided to serve the goddess Eris in exchange for a new life. The Repulse comet crosses the skies of planet Earth and from it, the golden apple where the soul of the goddess Eris was imprisoned is detached. Thus, the soul of the evil goddess calls a young woman to possess her body and begin her resurrection. After this, the goddess resurrects a group of five Saints who perished in ancient battles to serve as her personal army. The next morning, Eris, in Erii's body, surprises Saori as she is riding a horse and kidnaps her. Saori wakes up in the Temple of Eris trapped in a stone cross. There Erii appears, but upon closer examination, Saori realizes that this person is not Erii, but Eris. Saori tells her that she is not afraid of her, since she has her Saints who will always protect her, to which Eris responds with a laugh and with her staff sends a message to the Bronze Saints to come and rescue her. Eris is not afraid, since she has the protection of the Ghost Saints, former Saints who have come back to life by the power of the goddess. After this, Eris approaches Saori and places the golden apple on her chest so that it gradually absorbs her vital energy and can fully revive and sends the Ghost Saints to defeat Athena's Saints. During the invasion of Eris's Temple, each of the Bronze Saints follows their own path. Hyōga finds himself walking inside a cave surrounded by enormous stone statues, being surprised by Christ who knocks down one of these statues in an attempt to crush him, but he manages to react and move aside.

Christ rises from the rubble and introduces himself to Hyōga as the Saint of Southern Cross. After a brief exchange, the two prepare to attack with their techniques. As a result of the collision of Diamond Dust and the Southern Cross Thunderbolt, Hyōga receives a cross-shaped cut on his armor, while Christ's body is frozen up to his neck, as Hyōga avoided freezing him completely because he wanted to interrogate him. However, Eris, still in Erii's body, suddenly appears and reveals to a surprised Hyōga how she feels about him. When Hyōga was distracted, he is surprised by an unfrozen Christ, who throws him to the ground and begins to suffocate him. At this scene, Eris throws her scepter at the Saints, completely piercing Christ's body and injuring Hyōga, but not causing a fatal wound.
