Soul Eater °

Elizabeth Thompson (エリザベス・トンプソン, Erizabesu Tonpuson) is a demon weapon and the older sister of Patricia Thompson. Formerly a street-smart thug alongside her sister, raised on the streets of New York, their lives took a turn for the better when they met their future master, Death the Kid.

Eventually, she became Kid's comrade-in-arms alongside her sister, and enrolled in the Death Weapon Masters Academy in the EAT Class. After the fall of Arachnophobia, she was recognized as a two-star weapon and served with Spartoi until the battle on the moon against the Clown Army.

Personality
While Patty is very childish, Liz is very temperamental and more like a stereotypical teenager (concerned with makeup, shopping, appearance, etc.). Despite being mostly the most level-headed and serious of the sisters, she is shown to have an extreme fear of the paranormal, convinced that any ghost she encounters wants to eat her (her paranoia severely irritates the ghosts who try to help her). She can also be somewhat cynical, jaded, and superficial at times (but not always), and sometimes takes advantage of other people for her own benefit, such as when she pretends Tsubaki's food is hers to impress a boy she likes. She can be flirtatious and charming with men, mainly to deceive them (as shown when she tricks Giriko along with Patty).

Both Liz and Patty admire Kid's dignity because they both come from the streets. Unlike Patty, Liz is bothered by the drama caused by Kid's perfectionism. Furthermore, Patty adores her and believes Liz knows everything.

She is the older and more mature of the two sisters. Kid's obsession with symmetry and how he lets it control his life sometimes exasperates her, and she often scolds him for it, though she doesn't hesitate to cheer him up when he's depressed. She also demonstrates wit.

Patricia Thompson (パトリシア・トンプソン, Patorishia Tonpuson) is a demon weapon and the younger sister of Elizabeth Thompson. Known as one of the "Brooklyn Devils," she and Liz were small-time thugs until they were found by their current master and soul reaper, Death the Kid. Over time, she reformed and became Kid's partner in arms, eventually also becoming a student at the Death Weapon Master Academy with Class EAT.

Personality
Patty acts and speaks like a young child, often in a sing-song voice. She pronounces words like "hello" and "sorry" as a child would, and seems to be learning simple things like matching animal sounds to the correct animal. This childlike disposition can make her seem intrusive or insensitive, such as when she cheekily asks if Crona is a boy or a girl. However, it's possible that she hasn't been taught concepts beyond the extremely basics due to her generally childlike behavior and inability to grasp many things, as exemplified by Liz praising her for simply saying the animals' names correctly. This lack of knowledge may be because she grew up on the streets and presumably didn't receive a formal education.

Her current personality differs from the seemingly aggressive one she had during her time in Brooklyn, and it developed after meeting Kid. Unlike her sister Liz, Patty enjoys the drama generated by Kid's perfectionism, though she also encourages him when he gets discouraged by it.

She seems naive and simple, and gives the impression of not taking life seriously. While Patty had these traits before moving to Death City, such as being pleased when Kid referred to her and Liz as beautiful or patting the butts of the people she robbed.

Tsubaki Nakatsukasa (中務椿, Nakatsukasa Tsubaki) is Black☆Star's weapon and partner. She is part of the Nakatsukasa Clan, a renowned family of Japanese Demon Weapons, capable of transforming into various ninja weapons, including a katana. She is later known as Dark Demon Weapon (魔暗器 Maanki), referred to simply as Dark Weapon in the English dub. Currently, she is a member of the elite student unit, Spartoi, alongside Black☆Star.

Appearance
Tsubaki is a tall, attractive, and well-endowed young woman of Japanese descent, approximately 16 or 17 years old. She wears a pale yellow jumpsuit with a slit at one end of the skirt, featuring a bright yellow star printed on the right side of the chest. She also wears a black scarf, a tightly closed black stocking on her right leg starting just above the knee, and white boots. A sash resembling Black Star's gray studded straps is wrapped twice around her waist and hangs diagonally from right to left. She has long, black hair tied in a ponytail and large indigo eyes that are sometimes mistaken for a dark blue. Occasionally, such as when bathing or playing basketball, her ponytail and the strands of hair framing her face are tied in loops. When using the Demon Sword, her hair is loose, adorned with tattoos that share the same pattern as Black Star's. She wears gray and black bandages on her arms from the shoulder down, and a headband with a star symbol on each wristband.

Upon joining Spartoi, her attire changes completely. Like Black Star, she now wears a white sleeveless top with stitches running down the middle and a black scarf around her neck. She also wears blue pants held up with a black belt.

Black☆Star (ブラック☆スター, Burakku☆Sutā) is a student and the last surviving member of the Star Clan. He was taken in by Shibusen as a baby and trained by Sid Barett. At Shibusen, his partner is Tsubaki Nakatsukasa, and they later join the Spartoi group. Black☆Star is a hyperactive and excessively egocentric boy who aims to establish the hegemony of the Dark Star. His attire consists of white T-shirts, a tank top, and capri pants. His hair is blue. He is Tsubaki's meister (Dark Blade Technician).
Black Star was arrogant, loud, immature, and selfish. Although he fought as an assassin, he preferred to forget the Path of Assassination by arrogantly shouting his speech (similar to Adolf Hitler) and making his presence highly conspicuous; the reason being that he was a massive attention seeker. He couldn't stand anyone else receiving more attention than him, and he would proceed to defeat anyone more popular than him so that he could regain his popularity.

He has the delusional ambition to surpass God, something he proclaims aloud even during a fight, negating the purpose of ninja stealth. His ego is so enormous that he constantly gives out autographs that nobody wants and starts yelling at the top of Shibushen Academy.

He is also a cheat and a shameless person, trying to steal exam answers at the academy, which caused Dr. Stein to discover him and give him a brutal beating.

Height: Approximately 150 cm (4 feet 11 inches) without counting his hairstyle, and about 169 cm (5 feet 6 inches) if his characteristic spiky lock of hair is included.

Dr. Franken Stein (フランケン・シュタイン, Furanken Shutain) is an eccentric but talented doctor and teacher, known for being the strongest master to graduate from Death's Weapon Master Academy and, formerly, Spirit Albarn's first comrade-in-arms. He later becomes a professor at the academy at Death's request.
Stein is generally a hedonistic scientist whose greatest pleasure is dissection and observation, a trait that has persisted from childhood into adulthood. Because of this, Stein claims to view everything in the world (including himself) as an experiment. He has developed sadistic tendencies (due to his sensitivity to madness), possesses high intelligence, and has a dominant personality. His sadistic tendencies are evident during his battle against Maka and Black☆Star during remedial lessons, where he grabbed Maka by one of her pigtails, lifted her shirt, and drew marks on her body to indicate where he would dissect her, pondering whether he should turn her skin into sandpaper. However, since he was acting and deliberately exaggerating his "mad doctor" persona for the sake of the lesson, it's likely he didn't mean it seriously. Nevertheless, he has demonstrated a tendency to enjoy tormenting his students. His smiles are often filled with sadism and serve to highlight the latent madness within him. Stein appears as a lean, muscular man with silver-gray hair, large round glasses, and an attractive face. His most striking feature is the large screw protruding from his head, directly at his temple, within which he can rotate. He also has stitches all over his body, indicating experimentation. His attire consists of a lab coat and a high-collared shirt with two patterns in different shades of gray. Both garments are also covered in stitches.

Death the Kid (デスザキッド, Desu za Kiddo), or commonly known as "Kid" (キッド, Kiddo), is a powerful shinigami and meister. He is the second son of the lord of death, Shinigami-sama/Death, and the younger brother of Asura. He is also the Meister of Elizabeth/Liz and Patricia/Patty Thompson.
Personality
While Kid is strong, it's important to note that he has a major flaw that psychologically torments him, much like his occasional physical limitations, making him a peculiar character. He suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), which manifests as an obsession with perfection. Symmetrical objects and environments can distract him during missions, and he typically becomes agitated and even has outbursts if he notices asymmetrical objects around him. Therefore, if anything is wrong by any measure (a crooked picture frame, or unfolded toilet paper, for example), he will try to correct it immediately, even at the expense of the mission. His favorite number is 8, not only for its symmetry but also because it divides evenly. Appearance
Death the Kid is a tall, slender Shinigami boy with the appearance of a teenager. He mostly dresses elegantly, largely due to his Shinigami status. His main wardrobe consists of a standard black suit with white rectangles, until later in the manga when he is seen wearing a white jacket instead of a black one. The rectangles are arranged in a completely symmetrical manner; there are at least six small rectangles along the seam where the sleeves join the jacket, and four small rectangles run along the front of the jacket. It is possible that the rectangles replace buttons. His shirt is a white dress shirt, and a metal skull in the shape of his father's mask rests below his collar.

Maka Albarn (マカ アルバーン, Maka Arubān) is a Scythe Meister and the daughter of Spirit Albarn. Maka is a student at Shibusen and a partner of Soul Eater, where she aims to create a Death Scythe more powerful than her father. As the daughter of the current Death Scythe, she has high expectations of herself. She idolizes her mother and believes her father is disloyal, as shown in the anime when she speaks with Crona. She enjoys reading books and doing puzzles. She is also very studious and works hard in class to remain a model student. She is often seen with a book and always seems to have one on her person so she can use her Maka Chop at any time. She relies heavily on books to understand things, and Soul sometimes teases her, calling her <<ratón de biblioteca> She seems to prefer staying home and reading or studying, due to her inability to play games like basketball (despite her physical fitness), as she doesn't understand the rules. She also writes poetry when she's worried. According to Soul, she's stubborn, reckless, gloomy, and quick to resort to violence. She's a flat-chested young teenager.

Maka has green eyes and light ash-blonde hair, which she usually wears in two pigtails, though sometimes she styles them in buns or wears them loose. Her main outfit is a typical school uniform consisting of a white blouse with a yellow vest, a green striped tie, a red plaid skirt, and black boots with white buckles. When using Soul, she usually wears white gloves. Maka also wears a trench coat with a cape-like hem. In her first appearance in the first chapter, her trench coat was so long that, when buttoned up, it looked as if she wasn't wearing a skirt.

Soul "Eater" Evans (ソウルイーターエバ

Z, Sõru "Ītā" Ebansu), born as Soul Evans (JL I/Z, Sõru Ebansu) and later known as Soul Eater (ソウルイーター, Söru itā). He is a Death Scythe, named by Kid as the last of them, and Maka Albarn's partner. While a student at Shibusen, he became a member of the group known as Spartoi. Appearance

Soul has white hair swept to one side and red eyes. He is known for his highly exaggerated facial expressions and pointed teeth. Naturally, he has a lazy, languid, and somewhat indifferent expression on his face. In his first appearance, he wears a yellow and black jacket with buttons down the front. Around his head is a prominent headband with a name tag and a circular logo featuring a mouth-bearing red-lipped, pointed-fanged figure surrounded by the word "eat." He wears a pair of brown pants and yellow and black sneakers with a pattern on the soles.

Crona (クロナ, Kurona) Under the alias Demon Sword Technician (魔剣士, Makenshi), Crona is a Ragnarok Technician. Her biological mother is Medusa Gorgon. Initially seeking to become a Kishin along with her Demon Weapon, Crona serves as a recurring antagonist in the story.

Chrona's past is unknown. He has had "Black Blood" implanted in his body since childhood. His demonic weapon is known as Ragnarok. Medusa Gordon forced Chrona to repay both good and evil souls, resulting in abuse from her and his weapon's companion.

Personality:
Chrona is a very naive and submissive person, constantly teased by Ragnarok who hits her on the head and threatens to take away her food. Chrona dislikes fighting (she is often unable to overcome any obstacle she encounters), but Medusa usually casts a spell on Chrona's mind that increases her aggression.

Chrona is so negative about everything that, after writing a poem, she tries to adjust to interacting with more people, which can take some time due to Medusa's abusive treatment. Chrona usually stays in a corner of any room and will cower if frightened, calling to the corner of her own room.

Appearance: Chrona wears a long-sleeved black dress, simple black shoes, and prominent thigh-high stockings. She has small silver clasps on her wrists as accessories. Chrona has pale pink hair with a slight magenta tint. Her hair is short and styled with bangs, though two strands stick out from them.

Medusa Gorgon (メデューサ ゴーゴン, Medyūsa Gōgon) is a powerful Witch and one of the main antagonists. She is the mother of Crona and the creator of the Black Blood. Her theme, as a Witch, is snakes.

Appearance
Medusa is a slender, blonde woman with golden eyes and pale white skin. Her hair is styled with a few strands framing her face and two large strands braided across her chest. She always wears a hood, and has two white eyes at the sides of her head. She wears a light, full-body suit of a greenish-black color, sleeveless, revealing snake tattoos on her arms. As a fake doctor, she also wears a white coat.

Personality
Medusa is incredibly evil and sinister, willing to commit any act to achieve her goals. One of her defining characteristics is her ability to manipulate people, demonstrated countless times with Eruka and Free. She is also quite cynical, not caring who she might harm or who becomes the subject of her experiments. She enjoys inflicting pain on others, whether physical or psychological.

She also possesses a mind far superior to that of other people, with a remarkably high level of intelligence and/or analytical ability, capable of creating complex plans and carrying them out successfully. She tends to easily lose patience with those who interfere with her plans or experiments, even with her companions if they refuse to do what she wants, punishing them in very painful ways.

Despite all this, Medusa is also capable of showing affection or loving someone, even showing kindness to Crona after she successfully completed a mission, and also to Stein, with whom she is in love.
