Soul Eater

Patty is Liz Thompson's younger sister and Death Jr.'s (Kid's) teammate. Like her sister, she is a "weapon": in combat form, she transforms into a pistol.

Character

Naive and optimistic, Patty reacts to almost everything with delight and sees only the good in everything.
Energetic and spontaneous, she behaves very emotionally and often acts impulsively.
"Bad Boy Voice." Patty has an unusual and even frightening ability—she can speak in a very harsh, menacing voice that contrasts with her sweet image.

Combat abilities and interesting moments

When paired with Kid, she uses her abilities as a pistol; the sisters can also use each other as weapons.
She demonstrated excellent results in training: she defeated five opponents in hand-to-hand combat, including Black Star, and also accurately hit all targets with a pistol.
Immune to Krona and Ragnarok's sonic attacks.

Liz is a Demon Weapon, capable of transforming into a pistol. Her master is Death Jr. (Kid). She has a younger twin sister, Patricia (Patty), who is also a Demon Weapon and also serves Kid.

Character

Serious and responsible. She approaches assignments with utmost care and strives to do everything correctly.
Brave but timid. She enjoys fighting, but is also afraid of otherworldly creatures and anything truly spooky.
Cares about her appearance. Sometimes she pays too much attention to it.
She's irritated by Kid's obsession with symmetry. When he fixates on something being asymmetrical, Liz can literally throw tantrums.
Loyal to her team. Despite her grumpiness, she always has her back and will fight to the end.

Combat Features

In combat form, Liz carries a pistol (similar to a Beretta 92).
Its strength depends on the synchronization of the soul with the master: the better they feel each other, the more powerful the attacks.
Together with Patty, the sisters can use special techniques, including using each other as weapons.

Kid is the son of a Shinigami (Death), and as such, he is born with immense power and is not actually obligated to follow the path of a weapon master. Nevertheless, he consciously chooses this path and strives to become the perfect warrior.

Character

He's obsessed with symmetry. It's important to him that everything be perfectly balanced. For example, because of this, he's unhappy that his co-workers, the Thompson sisters (Liz and Patty), aren't identical twins.
A perfectionist and a serious fighter, but at the same time capable of showing concern for his comrades.
Prone to dramatic reactions when confronted with asymmetry.

Appearance and distinctive features

Kid's hair has three white lines—the so-called Sanzu lines, a manifestation of his nature as a Shinigami heir. They are asymmetrical, which is a real tragedy for Kid: he is literally obsessed with symmetry. Even the slightest violation of symmetry can drive him into depression or render him incapable of fighting.

Tsubaki is a demonic weapon from the ancient Nakatsukasa clan, which is a direct descendant of the weapon created by the witch Arachne Gorgon.

Character

Tsubaki is very gentle, patient, and caring—she balances out her partner Black Star's unbridled self-confidence. She tries to smooth over conflicts, support her friends, and do everything possible to avoid causing inconvenience to others. Over time, however, Tsubaki learns to be firmer and assert her boundaries: an important stage of her maturation is connected with confronting her own brother.

Appearance

Tsubaki is a girl of approximately 16 or 17 years old with long black hair, usually pulled back into a ponytail, and indigo eyes. Her outfits change throughout the story, but they often feature yellow and black accents, as well as star motifs.

Black Star is a student at the Shinigami Academy, a meister (a fighter who works in tandem with a weapon), and the descendant of a clan of assassins. His partner and weapon is Tsubaki Nakatsukasa.

Character

Black Star is incredibly self-confident and loves being the center of attention. His signature phrase, "I am the great Black Star, the man who will astonish the gods!", perfectly captures his nature. He is loud, impulsive, often blunt, and doesn't like to hold back. At the same time, he has a sense of justice and loyalty to his friends: despite his egocentrism, he genuinely cares for his comrades and is willing to rush into battle for them.

Appearance

Black Star has striking blue hair styled in a striking quiff and a distinctive gaze. Star tattoos on his body highlight his name and bold style. He dresses in combat-ready attire with elements that evoke the traditions of his clan of assassins.

Soul is a "weapon": he can transform into a scythe and fight alongside his "master" partner. His master and best fighting partner is Maka Albarn; together, they form one of the strongest pairs in Shibusen Academy.

Character
Soul is an emotional, impulsive, and slightly rebellious guy. His main goal is to become "the coolest," and this attitude largely determines his actions. He's not as goal-oriented as Maka, but he complements her perfectly: while she's responsible for discipline and strategy, he's responsible for daring and improvisation in battle. He's friends with Black Star, and the two often get up to some reckless behavior together.

An important part of his personality is his connection to music. Soul comes from a musical family, plays the piano well, and even in battle, the resonance between his and Maka's souls is conveyed almost like musical improvisation.

Appearance and style

Soul wears bright clothes, dominated by yellow tones, and looks like a typical "rebel": relaxed style, confident posture, daring expression.

Maka is a student at Shibusen Academy, which trains masters and weapons to fight demons and harvest souls. She strives to become the best master to surpass her mother and overcome her family's heavy legacy. Her partner is Soul Eater Evans, who transforms into a scythe in battle.

Character

Goal-oriented and diligent, Maka takes training and assignments very seriously, trying to avoid mistakes.
Strict, but kind. She often disciplines Soul and his other comrades (including literally, by hitting them with a textbook), because she wants them to avoid unnecessary risks.
She feels responsible. It's important to her to protect her friends and do everything right, which can lead to self-criticism.
Complicated feelings for her father. Her father is Spirit, the Death Scythe; Maka dislikes him because of his behavior, but still worries about him.

Appearance

Maka has short ash-blond hair with a distinctive streak, and wears the Academy's school uniform with an emphasis on practicality: typically a skirt, shirt, vest, and dark accessories. The look emphasizes her composure and fighting spirit.

Shinigami-sama (Mr. Death) is the founder of the Academy, in whose hands enormous power is concentrated.

Maria Mjolnir is one of the Death Scythes, the guardian of East Asia.

Excalibur is a legendary sword and one of the most powerful weapons in the series.

Blair is a cat monster with strong magical abilities who was initially mistaken for a witch.

Eruka Frog is a witch from the Order of Witches who was forced to work for Medusa.

Giriko is a demonic weapon and an ally of Arachnophobia (Medusa's sister). Its shape resembles a chainsaw.

Mifune is the bodyguard of the witch Angela Leon.

Little Demon (Ko-Oni) is an imp that took up residence in Soul's soul after he was wounded.

Sid Barrett was a teacher at the Academy who was later killed and turned into a zombie by Frankenstein.

Franken Stein is a powerful overlord and former partner of Death Scythe. He works as a teacher at the Academy.

Medusa the Gorgon is a powerful witch and scientist, one of the three Gorgon sisters. She infiltrated the Academy disguised as a nurse and created the Black Blood.

Crona is a mysterious ruler, partner of Ragnarok (the demonic sword). Daughter of Medusa.

Ragnarok is a demonic sword, partner of Crona. It can change shape.

Asura was originally one of the "Great Old Ones" of the Shinigami, but due to panic and madness, he transformed into a twisted, terrifying creature known as the Kishin.
