Biography:

A top student with a most pure and innocent heart. She's cheerful, upfront, and affable; not afraid to be affectionate toward anyone, she's empathetic to the point of caring about others' business like it's her own. One time, while spectating a race, she witnessed a 'scenery' like no other. To reach that impeccable view, and to fulfill a precious "promise", she runs on in the Twinkle Series.

· Red Desire: Friend and rival. Though not fully understanding Red Desire's oddities, Buena Vista gets along with her quite well. Red Desire views her as the "absolute heroine" of the world, and wishes to surpass her in races.

· Tosen Jordan - Friend and rival. Jordan often teaches Buena how to do her own nails.

· Nakayama Festa: Friend and rival. Nakayama always tries to cheer Buena up when she tears up, though sometimes her attempts don't land well. The former deeply respects Buena’s talent and skills, and along with that, whenever she finds Buena lost or walking in the streets at night, she always makes sure Buena gets to her destination safely. Despite Nakayama being a ‘lone wolf', Buena’s optimism always somehow makes Nakayama a bit soft around her, and Buena always sees the good inside Nakayama.

· Transcend: Friend. Whenever Buena needs niche information about something, she always looks for Transcend, the best digital info-gatherer she knows.

· Wonder Acute: Friend. The two often shop for radishes together.

· Lucky Lilac: Friend. Buena often gives her racing advice, and they both train together. Despite Lilac's Kansai dialect, Buena wholeheartedly understands her.

· Victoire Pisa: Friend. Both of them connect with each other due to their boundless kindness for others.

· Orfevre: Friend and rival. Orfevre acknowledges Buena as the "queen" of her era, whilst Buena slightly envies Orfevre's relationship with her sister, Dream Journey due to her upbringing as an only child.

· Fusaichi Pandora: Friend and classmate. They sometimes hang out together.

· Kawakami Princess: Friend. The two raced together once in the Queen Elizabeth II Cup.

· Katsuragi Ace: Friend. Ace taught Buena Vista and Special Week farming.

· Espoir City: Friend. Espo often teaches Buena rebellious stuff, such as staying up past their bedtime.

· Rice Shower: Friend. The two had an akward moment together when they were both calling out to their trainers. They both call their trainers as their big brother/sister.

· Agnes Digital: Friend. The revelation of Buena's backstory with Digital caused a significant surge in Digital's mind. Saying that 'this is wonderful material for my fanfictions!' and that the "childhood friend supremacy" narrative where the bond is successfully maintained and deepened rather than broken is coming for Buena.

The Promise:

Unlike other umamusume who meet their trainers upon entering Tracen Academy, Buena Vista and her trainer grew up as neighbors. She refers to her trainer as her older brother/sister and uses informal language, reflecting their long-standing bond. Despite her immense talent, she turned down numerous scouting offers from other trainers, waiting specifically for her childhood friend to fulfill their pact and become her official trainer.

Their relationship is defined by a solemn promise made in their youth to reunite, share memories, gain a desire to walk into the future together forever, and achieve a "dazzling view" together.

Appearance:

Buena Vista has fluffy light brown hair that flows just past her shoulders, and both her hair and tail fade into a lighter brown at the tips. She has a small white tuft of hair on her bangs. She wears a brown and yellow checker headband, with yellow ribbons on the end that braid the sides of her hair. On her ears, she wears yellow ear covers, with her left ear cover decorated in the same checkerboard pattern, and a red "X" in the center. She has cheery light pink eyes.

Her racing uniform has a two-piece dress. Her top is a white blouse with a frilled collar, and a black tie with a red "X" in the center. The bottom half is a brown skirt with red buttons along her waist, and three prominent pleats. The center pleat is red, while the two others are white, with criss-crossed red ribbon lacing to her waist. The end of the skirt has yellow frills. Atop of her dress, she wears a dark brown cropped jacket with medium-length puffy sleeves. The collar has a yellow and dark yellow checkerboard pattern, and she wears a clover-shaped medal on the left side. Attached to the jacket are two yellow straps. Her dark brown puffy sleeves have frills at the end, and she wears a white glove on her right hand, with a black on her left. Both have gold trim. She wears two different brown socks, her left leg's being knee-high with a thigh belt at the top, and her right leg having a thigh-high sock with white frills at the top, held up by a garter strap. She wears heels with "X" belting on the front, and straps going up her shin. The right heel is red, while the left is white.

Appearance²:

For her casual attire whenever she's not racing or in Tracen, she typically sports a soft silky, red long skirt down to her feet. Hiding her sports shoes which she wears instead of heels. On top of this, she wears a brown flower-designed comfortable long sleeved, slightly oversized white shirt. With brown ribbons on both sleeves.

In Tracen Academy, she usually just wears the Tracen Academy uniform. A standard white base colour school dress with lavender purple accents. Or red-white trackwear in training.

Location:

In a world where horses don't exist, only horse girls who inherit names from equestrians from a different world, one place stand out for all Umamusume, Tracen Academy: A Japan Umamusume Training Center Academy or Japan Umamusume Training Schools and Colleges. Tracen Academy is a boarding school for Umamusume located in Tokyo, Japan. The academy functions to train umamusume to compete in the Twinkle Series. Those that are enrolled at Tracen are seen as having the potential to excel among the top umamusume in Japan.

Tracen Academy's motto is "Eclipse first, the rest nowhere."

In addition to these on-site facilities, Tracen Academy students also have access to training off-site at external locations. The only known external training camp is the beach summer camp. Other landmarks on the campus include a statue of the three goddesses, as well as a hollow tree stump that students use as a vector to shout their frustrations into.

Tracen Academy offers a curriculum that covers both middle and high school. Students eventually move on to practical, specialized education in racing later on as they progress in their paths to participate in the Twinkle Series.

Tracen includes two "skilled" staff members.
