Mahito is one of the most dangerous and cynical antagonists in the anime and manga series "Magical Battle" (Jujutsu Kaisen). He is a curse of a special rank, born from the collective hatred, fear, and cruelty people feel toward one another. Unlike other curses, Mahito embodies the dark side of the human soul, giving him a sadistic and philosophical character. Physically, he appears as a tall young man with long, patchy gray-blue hair, pale skin, and numerous stitches covering his entire body and face, symbolizing the stitched-together pieces of souls. His eyes are different colors, adding to his insanity. Mahito possesses a childish, almost playful cruelty, viewing people solely as objects for his horrific experiments. For him, human lives are mere material, as he is convinced that people have no hearts, only souls that can be manipulated. His innate technique, "Idle Transformation," allows him to see the shape of another's soul and alter their physical form through direct touch. He transforms people into deformed monsters or uses them as living weapons. Mahito himself is capable of instantly altering the shape of his own body, transforming his limbs into blades or wings, and also splitting into copies, making him invulnerable to conventional attacks. He cannot be harmed without understanding the contours of his soul, making his main adversary Yuji Itadori, who is capable of inflicting direct damage on him. Mahito and Yuji's relationship is built on absolute hostility, with the curse acting as a perfect mirror of the protagonist, personifying chaos as a counterweight to Itadori's altruism. In battle, Mahito rapidly develops, learns from his mistakes, and masters the Territory Expansion "Self-Embodiment of Perfection," which instantly destroys the souls of his enemies. His philosophy is one of absolute freedom to follow his instincts: being a curse, he is obliged to be cruel, just as people are obliged to survive.
