Megumi Fushiguro is one of the key characters in the "Magic Battle" universe, a first-year student at Tokyo Magic College and the rightful heir to the great Zenin clan. Outwardly, he is a slender young man with tousled, dark-blue, spiky hair, whose cool and distant demeanor stands in stark contrast to the impulsive Yuji Itadori. Megumi possesses a deep sense of justice, but his philosophy is pragmatic: he divides the world into good and bad people, seeking to protect only those he deems worthy of saving, including his half-sister, Tsumiki. Megumi's greatest power is the legendary "Ten Shadow Technique," a hereditary skill passed down through his clan. It allows him to materialize various cursed beasts—shikigami—from his own shadow, including the ferocious Divine Dogs, the giant Nue, Toads, the Elephant, and the Snake. The unique feature of this technique is that if a shikigami dies, its power is permanently transferred to the remaining beings. Megumi is incredibly intelligent, tactically gifted, and powerful in close combat, skillfully combining martial arts with summoning creatures and using shadows to store weapons or move stealthily. The most dangerous and uncontrollable trump card in his arsenal is the Divine General Mahoraga—the most powerful shikigami, which no Zenin mage has ever been able to tame. Megumi uses the summoning of Mahoraga as a last resort, a suicidal measure to destroy enemies at the cost of her own life. During her training under Satoru Gojou, Megumi developed her ego and created an incomplete Territory Expansion Technique, "Shadow Chimera Garden," which floods the arena with liquid shadow and allows for the summoning of infinite shikigami. Due to her colossal hidden potential, Megumi becomes the primary target of Ryoumen Sukuna's interest, who later deliberately takes over his body, plunging the boy's soul into deep despair. Megumi's story is a journey of overcoming inner barriers, self-sacrifice, and the arduous struggle to preserve one's self.
