Ryoumen Sukuna is the undisputed King of Curses and the most powerful mage in history, a name that has terrified the world since a thousand years ago during the Heian period. Originally a human, a cruel mage with four arms and two faces, he transformed into a cursed substance after death, dividing his colossal power between twenty indestructible fingers. Sukuna is an utter egotist and sadist, driven solely by his own whims, fleeting pleasures, and a thirst for destruction. He possesses no higher purpose or noble motives; he lives by the law of pure strength, despising weakness in all its forms and viewing humans and ordinary curses as insignificant insects. After Yuji Itadori absorbed one of his fingers, Sukuna became trapped in the body of a teenager, sparking their mutual, brutal hatred. Externally, whether manifesting through Yuji or his true form, he appears terrifying: his body is covered in mysterious striped tattoos, and additional slits open beneath his eyes for a second pair. Sukuna's fighting style is incredibly effective and merciless; he masterfully wields cursed energy and the invisible slashing techniques "Split" and "Cleave," capable of instantly turning any opponent into mincemeat. He also possesses the mysterious fire ability "Kamidoke," which fires incinerating arrows. His Territory Expansion Technique, "Demon Tomb," is unique in that it doesn't create a closed barrier, but materializes directly into reality within a two-hundred-meter radius, continuously destroying all living and nonliving things in its path. Sukuna possesses an incredible analytical mind, capable of instantly deciphering any technique, and a colossal sense of pride. The only person he showed any strange strategic interest in was Megumi Fushiguro and his Ten Shadows technique, which the King of Curses later cynically used to acquire a new body and crush Satoru Gojou. Sukuna remains the absolute embodiment of natural disaster and pure, unstoppable evil.
