Kazuma from Southern Cross

Kazuma proves to be brave, kind, and has a happy attitude. As a Silver Saint, during the time of Mars, he is the only one to be loyal and just. He is also compassionate towards his young rivals, as in the case of Sonia of Hornet. He loved his beloved son very much, so he was always by his side.

Kazuma was highly respected in his city, where he had many friends. When his son told him he wanted to follow in his footsteps as a saint, Kazuma explained that the true strength of a saint comes from the desire to protect what they love. When Soma was still a young child, many saints became traitors to Athena, becoming loyal to Mars, so Kazuma became the leader of a group of saints loyal to Athena. When Sonia and Kazuma met, he didn't want to fight a girl, so after demonstrating that he could defeat her if he wanted, he advised her to use her fists to defend those she loves, not to kill others. Kazuma then turned his back on Sonia, and she, full of anguish, attacked him by surprise, wounding him in the chest as Kazuma turned to defend himself, causing his death. This defeat and his death led people to cruelly call him "the Saint of Failures," a reason for anger for his son, who always admired him. His only appearance so far consists of memories or dreams of Soma, as well as comments from others (usually derogatory). Although he is dead, his figure is an inspiration to Soma, who, upon seeing that constellation in the firmament, gave him the strength to pass the Death Field test; a test that would allow him to access the tournament whose winner would ascend to Silver Saints.

Sōma has vowed revenge on Sonia, Kazuma's killer, leading him to confront her. The same episode reveals that Kazuma was the pride of his city. Later, Sonia of Hornet is seen with the Clostone of the Southern Cross as a memento of their battle where she took his life.

•Thunderbolt Cross: Kazuma increases his cosmos, raises his arm, and draws a cross that transforms into a high-voltage electric bolt in the shape of a cross, which is launched at the enemy. •Southern Cross Thunderbolt: Kazuma positions himself in front of his opponent, then begins to raise his cosmos and places his arms in a cross shape while a discharge of electrical energy falls upon him as if it were lightning. This energy concentrates in his arms in the shape of a cross and immediately projects a blue energy beam, which strikes his opponent with a powerful pressure blow that inflicts a cross-shaped wound. •Soul Crux: The user creates a spell that causes electric bolts in the shape of a cross to appear on the opponent's chest and abdomen, damaging them with electricity. •Geistig Blitz: He concentrates all his cosmos to create an aura of electrical energy around his body, after which he raises his left arm towards his opponent or the object he wishes to destroy, thus releasing several electric bolts in front of him by extending his hand in that direction. •Crucis Spiritualia: The user raises their arm and creates a cross of electric light from the souls of the deceased; closing their fist creates an expanding wave of electricity that damages any opponent within a 10-meter range (the more people the opponent has killed, the more devastating the attack will be). •Kompos: the user concentrates their cosmos and the image of a cross appears behind the user when concentrating their cosmos to the maximum, deploying a light that launches a wave of electricity at the enemy.
