Persona Attributes

Appearance

Daedalus is a young man of light complexion whose appearance makes him seem older than he actually is. He has a robust and muscular build. His face is rough and has well-defined features, such as a large mouth, a sharp nose, and a prominent chin. Beneath his helmet (mask), his dark hair can be seen, styled in spikes.

Personality.

He is an excellent teacher with the experience and discernment to realize that the power Shun came to manifest was far from normal. Shun notes that his teacher is a kind person, and the fact that he was never seen to be upset with his student, despite being strict in training, supports this statement. Likewise, Daidalos showed great respect towards his student, as even when he doubted his ability to pass the Sacrificial Test, he accepted Shun's right to attempt it without trying to dissuade him due to his concerns. Furthermore, he displayed remarkable intelligence as he realized for himself, like Dohko and Marin, that something was not right with the Pope, leading him to choose to remain neutral, like Mū, Dohko, and Marin.

History.

Daidalos is the teacher of Shun and June, a pair of young aspirants to the title of Bronze Saint, on Andromeda Island. He presents himself as a rather strict mentor to Shun in his training, but has also proven to be a kind and compassionate person. After five years of training, Daidalos allows Shun to take the test of "the sacrifice", which is considered the final test to become a Bronze Saint and obtain the Cloth of Andromeda. Even though he doubted that Shun was ready to complete this test, the young man emerges victorious, opening the sea with his cosmos and breaking the chains that bound him. After completing the last test of his training, he manages to become a Saint. Before leaving the island to participate in the Galaxian Wars, Shun says goodbye to his teacher, thanking him for his teachings. Daidalos asks Shun how he awakened his cosmos, as he does not believe that he did so by chance at the time of the sacrifice test. Shun explains to Daidalos that he's noticed how his Cosmos has been increasing over the years of training and apologizes for not showing his progress. He asks Daidalos for permission to show him, just once and only to him, his true power. Daidalos is surprised by the intensity of Shun's Cosmos, which effortlessly destroys his Cepheus Cloth, indicating that he will be able to defend himself even without the Andromeda Chains.

History.

It is said that for some time Daidalos had shown his distrust of the Sanctuary, ignoring the Pope's summons and maintaining a distance in a suspicious attitude, although without showing rebellion or outright disobedience. Due to this suspicious and distrustful behavior, the Pope made the decision to send Aphrodite to Andromeda Island to end Daidalos's life. The details of the confrontation between Aphrodite and Daidalos are unknown; the only thing that is clear is that Aphrodite was victorious. In the only image of the confrontation, it can be seen that Aphrodite did not receive any wounds during the fight, while Daidalos received damage all over his body.

Techniques/Attacks

•Cepheus's Hammer of Demolition: The Saint of Cepheus concentrates his cosmos and then jumps and throws his chain, deploying the attack that destroys the area as if it were a giant hammer that releases a large electric shock wave throughout the area. •Rolling Defense: The chain wraps around the saint, spinning rapidly around him, describing fast and continuous circular movements at high speed to form a very compact spiral grid that, like a shield, prevents the passage of rival blows. This is an effective barrier against physical attacks and projectiles from his adversaries, which nevertheless has a weak point, since it leaves a small opening every 100,000 turns that the chain makes. •Cepheus Chain: The Saint of Cepheus throws his two chains that are surrounded by cosmos representing the crown of King Cepheus, which multiply multiple times piercing the enemy's protections, internally electronicating the enemy. •Crown Chains: The Saint of Cepheus summons chains of spiritual energy that emerge from the ground through a magic spell. These chains can multiply by hundreds (let's also mention that the length of Cepheus' chains is unlimited) to increase the number of hits. Mechanically, it's a direct attack where the chains slide, wrapped in spiritual energy that gives them greater speed and power, piercing the opponent's body. •Crown Cepheus: The Saint of Cepheus throws chains that upon contact with the ground unleash an electric burst that surrounds the enemy, forming a crown of electricity that damages the enemy.
