Ichi of Hydra

Ichi is a young man with a slightly pale complexion, he has no irises and his sclerae are completely white (in the anime they are black), Ichi has no hair throughout his head but rather a long ponytail, said long, straight black hair (in the anime it is white). When Ichi is not wearing his Cloth, he wears a yellow shirt over a green shirt, purple pants, and black shoes.

Ichi is somewhat conceited of being a Saint, perhaps like every Saint of Athena who is proud of wearing a Cloth that represents one of the 88 constellations that exist, and as he is too expressive it is more noticeable, although it is also very funny for the same reason, Ichi is shown to be confident in the power of his Bronze Cloth that is equipped with powerful poisonous claws that no matter if they are destroyed will re-emerge like the heads of a Hydra.

Ichi spends his early childhood in an orphanage, along with other children who would also be sent to various parts of the world to become knights. Like the rest of his classmates, he is the son of Mitsumasa Kido (only in the manga), although it is not indicated in the story whether he knows this fact. One day Ichi was training with Ban in hand-to-hand combat while the others were training in different ways, however the training is interrupted by Tatsumi who quickly gathers them together, however Seiya continued training ignoring Tatsumi, who sends for him, Tatsumi explains that a tournament will be held to determine the training centers of each of them, His training destination was Finland, where he receives his training and is named Saint of Hydra. Ichi is one of the 10 of 100 orphans who return as Saints to Japan, being one of the participants of the Galactic Tournament. Ichi along with Shun of Andromeda, Nachi of Wolf, Shiryū of Dragon and Jabu of Unicorn witnesses the battle between Geki of Bear and Seiya of Pegasus, and the victory of the latter. Ichi faces Hyōga, at first Ichi is shown to be confident and sure, stating that although Hyōga had come to Japan to be consecrated winner of the tournament and take the Sagittarius Cloth, he would be the one to get it as well as become the tournament champion, the Swan Saint asks him how he planned to do it to which Ichi replies that he planned to kill him then throws several punches placing Hyōga and then hitting him in the stomach with a powerful knee followed by this Ichi steps back while Hyōga staggers Ichi gives him a powerful flying kick placing him back against the ropes and investing him, while Hyōga thinks about his mother telling him that the fight had barely begun, Ichi prepares to end the battle by throwing a punch at the Swan Saint who stops him but this is what Ichi was looking for.

Then the Hydra Saint emerges its claws that dig into Hyoga's arm, Ichi retreats while Hyoga withdraws and destroys Ichi's poisonous claws, the Swan Saint mocks the situation but Ichi hits him several times in a row, however these blows do not cause damage to the Swan Saint, but Ichi makes his claws re-emerge and dig into Hyoga's chest, the latter realizes that Ichi's claws represent the heads of the Hydra, so he sets out to prevent the claws from growing back by freezing Ichi's arm, due to this the Hydra Saint jumped through the air delivering a powerful knee to Hyoga's face, followed by other claws emerging from his knee that dig into the Swan Saint, after this Ichi retreats while Hyoga freezes the claws again, finally Hyoga uses his Diamond Dust defeating Ichi while the Hydra Cloth is destroyed. When Seiya manages to save Shiryū's life, Ichi, Geki, Jabu, Ban, Akira, Makoto and Tatsuya quickly head towards Seiya celebrating not only the victory but also the "miracle" caused by Seiya who is on Geki's shoulders. After being defeated in the Galactic Tournament, Ichi returns to his training ground to complete his education. He reappears in the midst of the Battle of the Twelve Houses, along with the rest of the knights defeated in the Galactic Tournament, to protect Saori from the Sanctuary's henchmen, while Seiya and the rest of the protagonists cross the twelve temples to save her. Ichi patrols the Sanctuary with Nachi, as Athena has put all the knights on alert. During his patrol, he faces mysterious figures who have no physical body. They are surrounded by these specters, but Jabu of Unicorn appears at the last moment to help them defeat the invader.

At the end of the saga, he reunites with the rest of the Bronze Saints who are not fighting to witness the ongoing eclipse. Marin of the Eagle appears alongside Seika, who has lost her memory. Ichi, along with the rest of the Saints, creates a shield to protect Seika from Thanatos' attacks.

According to Ichi, if he hits his opponent three times with this attack, they will die immediately. •Gorgeous Fang: is a technique that consists of raising one arm up and the other down, then quickly crossing them in front of the chest, thus launching a pair of crossed energy rays, forming the letter X, which impact the enemy. •Mellow Shock: It is a technique that consists of making sinuous movements while concentrating his cosmos, then quickly approaches his opponent and sprouts sharp fangs trapping his opponent and proceeds to embed his claws in the enemy, when the claws embed themselves they generate electric shocks. •Hydra no Kiba Dance: It is a technique that consists of concentrating the Cosmos in the fists, with which it begins to hit the enemy in a series of blows and at the end it finishes him off by burying an ascending blow, through the use of one of its fangs, belonging to its armor.
