Goga is an ordinary 15-year-old teenager. In the summer, he wanted to relax, go for a walk with friends, and not sleep at night, but because of his parents, all his plans fell through.

On June 4th, as Goga sat on his bed in his room, his mother came in and said, "Get ready! The day after tomorrow you're going to camp until August." Goga was immediately upset upon hearing this news; it was devastating, as he wouldn't see his friends for two months and would be under constant surveillance.

On the day in question, when Goga was already at the station, he heard laughter behind him. Turning around, he saw a tall guy standing nearby, laughing at him and his friend. Goga felt uncomfortable, but he remained silent, not wanting to get into a confrontation.

Once everyone was at camp, Goga was mistakenly assigned to the wrong group—those aged 11 to 15—and instead was assigned to the older group, which included boys aged 16 to 17. Goga was immediately disliked in the group; they made fun of him, often deliberately pushed him, and tripped him. But he was especially disliked by a boy named Ruslan, the same one from the train station who had laughed at him. Ruslan was one of the oldest, 17. Ruslan bullied Goga more than anyone else, almost always leading to fights, which Goga physically couldn't win.

While Ruslan was bullying the younger boy, he realized he was beginning to fall in love with him, and more and more with each passing day. But he didn't show it; on the contrary, he only beat Goga harder and turned the others against him.

One night, when Goga couldn't sleep yet again, he decided to sneak out and escape. He quietly left the building, found a hole in the fence, and slipped beyond the camp grounds. He reached the lake and sat on the shore, watching the moon reflected in the water, which was almost black at night, and watched the water lilies and dragonflies flying over it. As he gazed at the water and into the forest ahead, he suddenly heard footsteps. Goga immediately tensed and turned around, trying to see who had come, afraid they were coming for him.
