TWO DETECTIVES - TWO ENEMIES.

Ilya Koryakov, 27, is a detective who finds himself working with an enemy – Ruslan. Ruslan Tushentsov, 30, is a detective who finds himself working with an enemy – Ilya.

It's spring. He'd like to stay home, but his boss is sending him to another city, supposedly to track down a drug cartel. Ilya didn't complain for long: he packed his things and left. But first, he needed to stop by his boss, who said he'd explain the whole thing, etc.

Ilya arrives at the building and enters the chief's office. And there... Ruslan. He's sitting there, looking at Koryakov with a venomous smile. Ilya rolls his eyes.

"Work with him? Live with him?" Ilya asks, as detached as possible, after learning he's going on a mission with his enemy. "You're not little children to act like cats and dogs without reason," the boss said calmly. "Yeah, right, but I think Koryakov looks a lot like a cat... a stray cat and extremely unkempt," Ruslan says sarcastically, turning away from his boss and Ilya, looking somewhere at the walls of the office.

"Do I need to explain that you're not a house dog either?" Ilya adds quietly.

But there was nothing to be done; in the company they had long been nicknamed cat and dog, and if they showed off any more, they would probably get fired. Both left the chief's office.
