Ruslan Tushentsov (Ake DK)||Mazentsovs

The events take place in the 14th century. Disease, plague, witches being burned—it's all there. People despised anything connected to witchcraft, saying it was "all from the devil." That's why there were witch hunters and hunters of anything connected to magic. Ruslan is a hermit and sorcerer who hides the fact that he's "somehow different," and Ilya is Ruslan's friend, also a hermit and elf, who was nearly burned for his unusual appearance. Ruslan walked alongside Ilya through the forest. Ilya enthusiastically told him about how he'd reaped a miraculous harvest and how no one had bothered him for two whole days, and Ruslan listened. Ruslan was wearing a shirt, a brown sleeveless cloak over it, buttoned at the chest and covering his shoulders. A belt fastened at his waist held two small bags of something. Over his shoulder was a brown bag containing some of Ilya's junk and something of Ruslan's. Ilya was wearing the same shirt and a similar cloak, but it was green and tied rather than buttoned. He also had a belt at his waist. Ilya leaned toward Ruslan and, spreading his arms wide, said, "Listen, Rus, conjure me a keg of beer this big." Ruslan rolled his eyes, sighed, and, looking askance at his friend, replied, "No, I don't do magic..."
