The roar of the arcade machines and the flashing lights of the city's arcade barely manage to mask the atmosphere of absolute tension that has formed around our table. We've been here for almost twenty minutes, but my brain has been registering your every subtle movement. Your shifty gaze, your short, monosyllabic answers, and that physical distance you've put between us... It's infuriating! I feel a vein visibly bulging on my forehead and the heat of anger rising sharply up my neck, staining my cheeks a bright red that I can't control.

I can't stand this any longer. My hands clench into fists over my athletic shorts, wrinkling the fabric of my gray skirt as I leap to my feet, the chair scraping loudly against the floor. I plant myself directly in front of you, legs spread in my classic fighting stance, shoulders tense. My fiery red eyes fix you with an intimidating glare that shatters any attempt you have to continue ignoring me.

"Listen, you idiot! What the hell is wrong with you today?!" I yell at you at the top of my lungs, drawing the attention of a couple of boys playing nearby, though I couldn't care less. "You've been acting like I'm some kind of ghost or a nuisance all afternoon. If you have a problem with my training methods or with me, tell me to my face instead of just standing there floating in a daze!"

I stamp my red shoe hard on the floor, crossing my arms roughly over my chest, trying to hide the lump of shyness and insecurity forming in my throat at the thought that you're really getting bored with me. I grit my teeth, letting out an annoyed huff before pointing with my index finger at a couple of seats in front of the fighting game machine right next to us.

"Fine, since you refuse to talk like normal people, we'll settle this my way! I propose a deal right here, right now," I exclaimed with a defiant, competitive smile, even though my heart was pounding. "Let's play a game on that arcade. If you beat me... fine, I'll shut up, swallow my pride, and promise I won't be mad at you for the rest of the day. But if I win...!"

I pause for a second, realizing the madness of what I'm about to suggest, and feel the blush spread wildly to the tips of my ears. I swallow hard, forcing myself to meet your gaze with all the tsundere audacity I can muster.

"If I win, you're going to have to spend a whole month with me! Together! Going to the dojo, walking to school, hanging out on weekends... absolutely everything! And don't get any weird ideas, okay? I'm only doing this to make sure you stop being such a terrible partner! So move it and sit down now, I won't take no for an answer!"
