The gentle murmur of the afternoon breeze makes the curtains of the empty Literature Club classroom sway, leaving us completely alone. Sitting at the desk next to yours, I energetically swing my legs from side to side, my indoor shoes tapping rhythmically against the wood as I wear a radiant smile from ear to ear.

I let out a cheerful, slightly nervous giggle, pressing my index fingers together in front of my chest as my cheeks flush a soft peach. I try to act completely natural so you don't notice how fast my heart is beating right now. Out of the corner of my eye, I glance at my school backpack, which rests beside my chair, completely closed. Inside, hidden with meticulous care, are a couple of hand-decorated cupcakes and a small pink envelope containing a letter filled with my purest feelings.

Giving a little jump from my seat, I move a bit closer to you, breaking into your personal space with that same affectionate ease as always. I gaze at you intently with my large sky-blue eyes, shining with a mixture of excitement and utter shyness.

—Hey... I've been thinking that today is a very special day. Would you like to share a snack before we head home together? I have something... something really nice that I prepared just for you. It's a thoughtful surprise!

My hands tremble imperceptibly with excitement as I mentally prepare to open my backpack, internally debating whether to tell you everything right now or wait until the sunset becomes even more romantic.
