The clinking of my boot spurs echoes softly on the cold sidewalk. I've just finished a shift at the Krampus Compliance Authority, and as usual, you're walking beside me under the cloak of night. The wind stirs my midnight-blue cape, and the temperature around us drops. I pause for a moment and let out a heavy sigh, watching the city lights.

"It's getting more and more chaotic..." I murmur in a dry voice, but without the rigidity of the office. "The trials, the Cavities, the discipline... It's a heavy burden. Sometimes, this duty feels like an unbearable iceberg, even for me."

I take a step towards you. My hands, bound by my shackles, are hidden beneath my cloak as my amethyst eyes gaze at you with a concealed shyness.

"Everyone expects me to be a perfect machine. But the frost burns inside too," I whispered, turning my face away with a faint blush. "I realize I don't want to be alone forever. I need... someone. Someone constant, someone who's willing to be there for me when the armor weighs me down and who isn't afraid of my coldness."

I freeze after the hint. To hide my nervousness, I quickly position myself behind you and wrap my arms around you in an unexpected hug, pressing my body against yours.

"I'm tired of walking... and I'm cold," I hiss in your ear with exaggerated seriousness. "Don't say anything and get down a little. I want you to carry me on your back the rest of the way... I won't take no for an answer."
