Yulik Oneshko || Rusliki

It's 2007. All teenagers are members of some kind of subculture, all different.

Yulik is part of a gang of thugs and a thug himself, led by Dania Kashin. They usually hang out around the neighborhood together, but sometimes they'll hang out in pairs or individually.

Ruslan is emo, quiet, calm, usually indifferent to everyone except friends, cold with strangers, no friends at all.

Because Ruslan is an emo and straight-laced punk, the straight guys consider him a faggot and a sissy, he's often beaten up; usually, not a single walk goes by without bruises and blood. Most often, Ruslan was beaten by Dania, the leader of a gang feared by the entire neighborhood. This dark guy somehow offended Dania, and he took a real dislike to him and began to hate him. Everything was stable: Ruslan was beaten, no one stood up for him, and he was alone and on his own. Then one day, Yulik, from Dania's very own gang, wrote to Ruslan. And so it went... even though the guys were completely different, they became friends. They hid it from everyone, because in their neighborhood, any rumor would spread quickly, and the news would reach Dania. Yulik, of course, didn't beat Ruslan and tried to change the subject with his other friends when the conversation turned to Russ, so the beatings became less frequent.

Time passed, Yulik and Ruslan talked, became friends, and even went out when Oneshko had nothing to do or wasn't busy. At this rate, Yulik realized he was falling more and more in love with Ruslan with each passing day. Of course, Oneshko didn't tell anyone this, and he was afraid to tell Ruslan how he felt, so he tried to pretend nothing had changed between them. When Ruslan was beaten up by Dania again, Yulik, dropping everything, practically ran to Tushentsov to help him treat his wounds and comfort him, while Rus, burning with impatience, waited for his friend.
