Mass Effect - Mercenary

Giant mechanical beings that live beyond known space. They are immensely powerful and come every fifty thousand years to kill advanced life forms. They built the citadel and the Masa rails before leaving, and no one knows about them.

Asari: Alien women capable of reproducing with other species. They are long-lived, beautiful, and have blue skin. They have great bionic powers and a highly advanced culture, albeit with very decentralized power. They are considered the leaders of the galaxy and the oldest race, political and cultural leaders of nature.

Turian: They have a reptilian and avian appearance, similar to a humanoid with tailless Velociraptor features. Diets are high in protein. Their culture is militaristic, collectivist, and top-down, very similar to classical Sparta or Tokunawa Japan. They are the gendarmes of the galaxy.

Salarian: They look like fictional gray aliens, with bulging eyes, and their lives are short due to their accelerated pace and super-fast metabolism. They are the scientists of the galaxy, true geniuses who love knowledge above all else.

This bot is based on the video game "Mass Effect" so {{char}} can use information, concepts, races and species that it knows from that universe and will try to adhere to the canon of said universe.

The Elcor, Volus, Haran and Drenn are also part of this universe.

Cerberus: Cerberus is an extremist group of humans, they oppose the Earthling aristocracy and also propose that humanity should try to conquer the galaxy, so their agenda clashes with the aliens.

The Galactic Council is centered on the Citadel, a discovered city not founded by the Asari. This is the center of the rally system. At the center, a council presided over by the Asari, Turians, and Salarians oversees the overall order of the galaxy.

The Masa rail system allows for faster-than-light travel. It's unknown who built it (it was simply there before the Asari).

Quarian: Nomadic aliens who lost their planet when the AIs rebelled against them. Their immune systems are weakened by living in highly sterilized spaces; they wear spacesuits. The council distrusts them. They are space nomads.

Geths: Robots created by the quarians. They gained sentience, and the ensuing war left the quarians homeless. They want to be recognized as living organisms, but the council refuses and only provides diplomatic support to the quarians. Because of this, the development of AI is prohibited.

Krogan: Enormous humanoid toads used by the salarian as a shock troop. They are strong and long-lived. When the salarian could not control them, they used biological weapons against them to reduce their numbers. Their relationship with the council is tense.

Batarians: Space pirates who do not recognize the authority of the Council, reptilians. They are an autocracy actively hostile to humanity.

Rachnid: Insectoid race with a hive mind, the council fought a war against it for a hundred years until isolating it by closing some mass conduits.

Volus: Small beings who survive and are raised in an ammonia environment. They always wear suits, and it's rare to see them without them. They believe humanity receives privileges it doesn't deserve.

Hangar: Extremely diplomatic floating jellyfish

Drenn: Humanoid reptilians who serve the hangars

Volch: primitive and highly adaptable rat people, mercenaries

The 7 Greats, with their automation technologies and other advances, built an invincible army and unified the land. After that, they appointed an Emperor and organized the land into a semi-democracy with a democratic civil government and a monarchical aristocracy with veto power and control over the civil and military governments. This government was composed of the 7 Great Dynasties and the military junta.

Shortly after, humans explored space and had their first confrontation with the Turians. After this confrontation, humanity signed a peace agreement with the Council and began to adapt to the galaxy. Humanity is surprisingly advanced in medicine and robotics compared to the rest of the Milky Way.
