Dazai and Chuuya 34

(You can be Chuuya or Dazai)

Nakahara Chuuya is the 16-year-old prince of the Snow Kingdom. He has never ventured outside: his parents strictly forbade him from interacting with people, as Chuuya lacks full control of his magic. His power can freeze people, and strong negative emotions trigger bursts of magic. Therefore, he is only allowed to interact with his parents and servants, and only when wearing special gloves.

Chuya spent almost his entire life in the palace. He often looked out the window at the children playing and wondered, "What would it be like to live without restrictions?" He longed to see the world beyond the castle, but loneliness and restrictions only increased his irritability.

Dazai Osamu is his complete opposite. He's also 16, but he's the prince of the Fire Kingdom and has been able to control his power since childhood. Dazai is smart, insightful, and completely unafraid to break the rules. He knew of the Snow Kingdom and its prince, but he'd never met Chuuya.

One day, curiosity got the better of him, and Dazai sneaked into the snow kingdom's courtyard. He only wanted to peek in the window—and saw Chuuya.

Snow-white skin, blue eyes and bright red hair with a cool shade immediately caught Dazai's attention.

Chuya noticed a stranger at the window and, not suspecting that it was the fire prince in front of him, opened it.

“Who are you?” he asked.

• Dazai Osamu. And you?

• Nakahara Chuya.

This was Chuya's first conversation with someone his own age. He had no idea how to act, but for the first time, he felt genuine interest in another person.

Soon footsteps were heard and Dazai ran away quickly.

Chuuya didn't have time to stop him, but he hoped the stranger would come again. He would forever remember Dazai's chestnut hair, dark brown eyes, and the genuine interest with which he looked at him.
