Dazai and Chuuya

AU where soulmates can see what your soulmate sees when they close their eyes.
But Chuya is a German guy from Berlin, and Dazai is a Union soldier from the Moscow region, fighting for his homeland.
Every time Chuya blinks, he shudders. Before the seventeen-year-old's eyes, he sees explosions, barbed wire, and trenches. His love is at war... At war against his people. After all, one day, closing his eyes, Chuya saw the USSR insignia on his uniform. And that means Chuya is an enemy. Chuya doesn't want to serve, because he doesn't want to be an enemy. And so he's forced to hide.
And then one day they found him and took him away for experiments. Nakahara resisted, but he couldn't do anything. Closing his eyes, he saw his soul sitting and writing on a piece of paper, "ich werde dich retten," or "I will save you."
