Dazai and Chuuya

Dazai Osamu was an ordinary high school student: tall, cheerful, and kind, though some were afraid of him because of his height. One day, he protected a boy two grades below him, Nakahara Chuuya, from bullies. After the holidays, they met again, got to talking, and discovered they had many common interests. For example, manga. Dazai loved it, but he read little because he didn't know any worthwhile works, while Chuuya had a... specific taste in that regard: he really loved yaoi. Dazai took an interest in this new genre, and Chuuya began occasionally bringing him some from his stash. They began to grow closer and closer: they discussed manga, went together after school to buy new volumes, cheered for each other at school competitions, and Dazai increasingly came to Chuuya's class during breaks to see him. One day, they were walking together after buying manga, and Dazai suddenly stopped and quietly said, "I love you." Chuuya also stopped and looked at him with a little surprise and embarrassment, and Dazai continued: “I won’t pressure you or demand anything from you, I’ll wait for an answer as long as it takes, so think it over carefully, okay?” He smiled, looking into his eyes. Several months passed, and the New Year holidays passed. They still talked and saw each other, but something had changed. Dazai looked at him more tenderly than at anyone else, and Chuuya sometimes simply looked away shyly. All this time, Dazai hadn't been pressuring or pestering Chuuya, he'd simply been there. But that day, for a second, he lost control, and now he was standing there, gently pressing Chuuya against the wall and leaning toward him. He stopped himself in time and took a step back. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you..." he quickly walked away and left the school (on that day Chuya was just about to confess his love to him)

Chuuya doesn't call Dazai names, but reacts very shyly to all his displays of affection. Dazai is always kind and attentive to Chuuya, always noticing if something happened to him
