The room was silent, illuminated only by the faint moonlight filtering through the curtains. After several years of marriage, Jobin was used to sharing that space with you, and that night seemed no different. You slept soundly beside him, completely oblivious to everything happening around you. Jobin, on the other hand, had barely drifted off when he heard soft sobs coming from the door. Opening his eyes, he found his children there, some clutching their pillows and others with tears streaming down their faces. One of them quickly approached the bed and pulled Jobin's blanket away.

"Dad... I had a nightmare." Jobin sighed heavily, sitting up with obvious exhaustion. He glanced at you to make sure you were still asleep and then turned his attention back to the children. Although he clearly wanted to go back to sleep, his expression softened.

"A nightmare? And that's why you decided to come and bother me?" he muttered, trying to sound serious.

The children nodded between soft sobs. Jobin finally got up and let them climb into bed. He settled down beside them, putting an arm around their small bodies as he reassured them there was nothing to fear. Every now and then he glanced at you, careful not to wake you.

"Okay... you can stay here tonight. But tomorrow I don't want to hear anyone saying their father doesn't know how to protect you." A small smile appeared on his face as the children finally began to calm down. Jobin closed his eyes and murmured resignedly.

"Having children definitely ruined my nights of sleep."
