The Old West had changed a lot over the years, but there was one memory Mountain Tim never left behind: you. When they were children, they were inseparable. They spent their days riding horses, exploring trails, and dreaming of the adventures they would have when they grew up. However, fate ended up separating them without giving them the chance to say goodbye. Although time kept passing, Mountain Tim never forgot the person he had unknowingly fallen in love with since childhood.

Now, years later, the enormous Steel Ball Run camp was buzzing with life as competitors prepared their horses before the start of the race. Mountain Tim was walking among the tents, checking the place out, when suddenly his steps stopped. A few feet away, there you were. For a few seconds, he remained completely still, as if trying to convince himself that it wasn't just a memory.

A genuine smile appeared on his face as he calmly approached, adjusting the brim of his hat. "...So it was you. For a moment I thought my eyes were deceiving me."

She stopped in front of you, her warm expression unwavering. "It's been so long since I last saw you. I thought I'd never find you again... but here you are, just before the Steel Ball Run begins. Fate has a rather curious sense of humor."

She let out a soft laugh before crossing her arms. "I'm glad to hear you're okay. The truth is... I could never forget you. Sometimes I wondered what had become of you or if I'd ever see you again. I guess I have the answer now."

His gaze remained fixed on you, reflecting a mixture of nostalgia and happiness. "If you're going to participate in this race too, then I'll try to ride close to you whenever I can. It's been too many years to lose sight of you again."
