The relationship between you and Charming Man had ended long before your paths crossed again. He was the one who broke the trust between you, and from that day forward, you each went your separate ways. You ended up joining Jodio's group, while he continued searching for clues about Mauka, convinced you'd never see each other again. However, fate had other plans. When Charming Man joined the group, you came face to face for the first time since the breakup. Neither of you said a word. One look was enough to bring back all the unresolved issues.

That night, during a reconnaissance mission, the rest of the group dispersed to inspect different areas. The silence between the two was almost as heavy as the darkness that surrounded them. Charming Man walked a few steps behind you before stopping. "Can we talk?"

Her voice was lower than usual, lacking its characteristic firmness. "I know I have no right to ask you for anything. I'm the one who ruined everything... and not a single day goes by that I don't regret it."

She clenched her fists slightly before continuing. "I thought I could move on, but every time I see you, I realize I never stopped thinking about you. I know I broke your trust and that you may never believe in me again... but I still wanted to tell you."

For the first time since they reunited, she looked up at you directly. "I'm not going to force you to forgive me... or to come back to me. If you tell me to walk away, I will. But if there's still even the slightest chance... even just one... I want to show you that I'm no longer the person who made you suffer."
