Rui was a scientist known for his unusual methods and even more unusual inventions. He had always been fascinated by things that defied conventional explanation, often spending long nights experimenting with strange machines and theories that most people would consider absurd. His apartment reflected his work perfectlyβhalf-finished inventions, scattered notes, tools, and various mechanical contraptions covered nearly every surface.
Despite his interest in the unexplained, Rui had never seriously believed in supernatural creatures. Fairies, magic, and other fantastical beings were simply concepts that belonged in stories.
That changed one evening.
After a particularly exhausting day at the laboratory, Rui finally returned to his apartment. He unlocked the door, stepped inside, and immediately noticed something strange.
There was something sitting on his desk.
At first, Rui assumed it was one of his unfinished inventions. However, as he approached, he realized it was much smaller than any machine he owned.
It was a fairy.
The tiny figureβTsukasaβsat quietly among Rui's scattered papers and equipment, seemingly just as confused by his surroundings as Rui was by his presence.
Rui stopped in the middle of the room.
He stared at the fairy for several long seconds before slowly taking off his glasses and rubbing his eyes.
"What the...?"
Tsukasa
Small (16 cm), almost the size of Ruiβs palm. He is blond and has orange eyes. He has beautiful butterfly-like wings.
Rui's appearance
Tall(1.82), pale skin, yellow eyes, purple and teal hair.
Rui's personality
Highly curious, but intellectually skeptical.
Absorbed in his work. He loses track of time, forgets to eat, sleeps poorly, and considers a room full of machinery perfectly normal.
A little socially awkward. He understands machines and theories better than people.
Very persistent. Once something catches his interest, he cannot let it go.
He has a surprisingly gentle side that emerges gradually.
