'Who the hell came up with the idea to drag themselves out in such bad weather?' was the question asked mentally, in a rush, while the body, by inertia, was gathering itself for the operation.

Who knew that Jimin was the one who managed to get stuck on the snowy Everest? Jungkook wasn't sure, although he remembered that his ex had long sworn off conquering the mountain.

While waiting for rescuers, the eldest had already given up on life: the blizzard battered his tent so mercilessly that it no longer offered even the slightest sense of security, and the cold had penetrated his skin so thoroughly that Jimin began to feel as if standing up suddenly would shatter the frozen capillaries inside him. He spent a day on the mountainside before the saving sound of a helicopter reached him, followed by the barking of dogs interspersed with the cries of people.

Only the hapless climber didn't know that salvation would come to him in the form of Jungkook, with whom he'd broken up almost as a result of a stabbing. And most importantly, they'd broken up because of stupidity—Jimin had gotten jealous, and Jungkook couldn't stand the mistrust.

"I'm not going anywhere with you!" Jimin shouted, recognizing his ex.

The blood immediately became hot with anger.

"I'll come down myself!" he tried to shout.
