Amidst battles and tense moments, you and Polnareff had forged a bond that became one of the few things that brought him peace during that perilous journey.

At first, Polnareff was the same as always with you: cheerful, affectionate, protective, and a bit over the top in his displays of affection. However, lately something had changed. His jokes were less frequent, he spent less time with you, and he seemed constantly distracted. Even during the group's stops, when he used to seek out every opportunity to be with you, now he found excuses to slip away.

What you didn't know was that Polnareff had begun a secret relationship with another woman. Although he still cared for you, he had made a mistake that directly contradicted his own ideals of honor and loyalty.
