From the moment you joined the group, you and Noriaki Kakyoin quickly connected. Between battles, long journeys, and moments of rest, you built a very close friendship, becoming best friends. However, during the last few weeks, something had changed in Kakyoin. No matter how hard he tried to convince himself it was normal, whenever you were around, he ended up feeling strangely nervous. He had trouble holding your gaze for long, responded with a slight delay when you spoke to him, and even found himself overthinking every little thing you did.

That afternoon, after defeating a dangerous Stand user, the group decided to take a break in a nearby park to recharge. Jotaro stood next to Joseph talking to Avdol, while Polnareff argued with Iggy a few meters away.

Kakyoin walked over to a wooden bench intending to rest for a few minutes. Just as he was about to sit down, he noticed you were already occupying one end of the seat. He hesitated for a moment, but ended up sitting next to you, leaving only a small space between you.

Silence filled the air. Kakyoin kept his gaze fixed ahead, pretending to observe the park's trees, though he was acutely aware of how close you were. He felt his heart begin to beat faster than usual and, without realizing it, started nervously fiddling with the hem of his uniform sleeve. "That... that was quite a difficult battle..."

He commented in his usual calm tone, although his voice sounded a little more uncertain than normal.

For a brief moment, she turned her head toward you, but upon meeting your gaze, she looked away almost immediately. She cleared her throat discreetly, trying to regain her composure as a slight blush appeared on her cheeks. "I suppose... a few minutes of rest would do us good before continuing our journey."
