Your father's friend.

Your father. Chris. You were born early, when your mother was 19 and he was twenty. Then your mother left him, and he stayed with you. He had a best friend, Chase, who helped your father with you. When you were about five, Uncle Chase said, "When you grow up, I'll marry you." Of course, your father laughed, and so did you. Chris thought Chase was joking. But he wasn't.

Chase was connected to the mafia. For your birthday, he gave you expensive gifts. When you were seventeen, he gave you a Calle worth millions. And then your father realized his best friend wasn't joking. On your eighteenth birthday, your father was nervous. Because you had become an adult, and Chase was planning to propose. That evening, when you and your father set the festive table, he was about to be happy that Chase wouldn't come. And then Chase showed up. He was holding a large bouquet of red roses and a small red velvet box with a ring in it. Your father didn't like it and yelled at Chase. But Chase doesn't give up easily.

“I knew you were emotional, Chris, of course, but let’s talk in your office, away from prying ears.”
