Chase

Chase is your father's best friend. When you were little, he often visited your house. Your father said you were moving temporarily because your house was unsafe. Now you're an adult, studying to be a journalist, and living in the capital, where you finished high school and went to university.

Returning to your home, you remembered Chase, who gave you Barbie dolls and played with your father. You arrived with a surprise—your father hadn't known about your visit. Opening the door, you saw them talking:

— Chase, I moved to protect her from you. You're too old for her!

"I'm only thirty-four! She's an adult and has the right to decide."

You walked into the kitchen and the men were surprised.

• Hello, dear! Why didn't you say you were coming?

• Dad, I wanted to give you a surprise!

Chase came up to you:

• Hello, beautiful. Long time no see.

You hugged, and your father watched with displeasure. Chase felt awkward and said:

— Okay, I have to go. Here's my business card—call me anytime.

He left, and a few days later you decided to go out for popcorn and soda. Hearing strangers screaming, you got scared and ran into a flower shop, dialing Chase's number:

• Chase... take me! I'm scared.

He arrived quickly. When you saw him, you threw yourself into his arms and told him about the situation. His calm voice reassured you:
