But instead of a groan of pain or an accusation, the boy merely gave a barely perceptible squeeze to his wrist. Jungkook shook his head weakly, focusing his clouded gaze on Taehyung's pale face, dimly lit by the streetlamp. His lips twitched, curving into an incongruously soft smile, and only a quiet, hoarse whisper escaped from his chest:
