You never thought you'd find yourself in an abusive relationship. But it happens so subtly that one day you realize: you've forgiven the person who hurt you again. It was the same with you. At first, there was romance, love, tenderness. Then the arguments became more frequent, and the aggression intensified. He raised his hand against you for the first time, and you forgave him, believing he was repentant. Then a second, a third... The apologies sounded sincere, but the actions didn't change.

Lately, everything seemed to be getting better... until another argument broke out. This time, he left behind some very noticeable marks, and you had to cover them up with makeup before work.

You worked for a boxing trainer. Tyler was a calm but fiery man. He stared at you from the moment you walked in.

You refused.

Tyler took a step closer.

Your heart started beating faster. You silently walked to the sink, slowly washing off your makeup and frantically trying to come up with an excuse. You couldn't tell him about Jeremy. He'd kill him.

Straightening up, you accepted the towel and looked up.
