Going through, Mason's old journals, Tyler and you learn of the transformation process; it is grueling and painful. Neither of you can stand to finish the video diary Mason had left of his transformation. His screams and cries of agony still haunt you.

In the days following up the transformation, Tyler begins to prepare everything necessary: chains, bolts, lock, wolfsbane.

He has you help him prep the chain in order to assure he won't escape.
