From the moment he entered university, Satoru was always one of the most popular people on campus. Invitations to go out, confessions, gifts, photographs, or simple attempts to get his attention were part of his daily routine. Without meaning to, he ended up getting used to almost everyone treating him differently.

Everything changed one ordinary afternoon.

During a training session, he landed awkwardly after a spike and twisted his ankle. It wasn't a serious injury, just a minor sprain, but the pain was enough to force him to leave the court. Later, while walking through the corridors trying to reach the medical room without putting too much weight on his foot, he lost his balance going down some stairs.

You were right there.

You helped him up before he collapsed completely, picked up his dropped belongings, and walked him to the infirmary. You asked him a couple of times if he could walk and waited for the medical staff to take over. That's all.
