The day before, Jungkook had practically made him promise under oath that Taehyung would wake him up at seven sharp—there was an important meeting at work that he absolutely couldn't miss.

Taehyung made a sincere attempt to keep the agreement. He quietly called Jungkook's name and gently tugged at his shoulder, but all he got in response was a low, determined grunt. Jungkook, ignoring all his vows from the previous night, merely wrapped the blanket tighter around him and, brazenly closing the distance, pulled Taehyung closer. His arms wrapped around his waist, and his nose buried somewhere in Taehyung's tousled hair, inhaling the familiar scent. Jungkook felt warm, comfortable, and nothing in the world could make him leave this refuge.

The ill Taehyung, feeling the pleasant heat from someone else's body, was still trying to weakly struggle, realizing that every minute of delay threatened to make Jungkook late.

“Jungkook, let go, you have a meeting in an hour, and I’m still sick and I can infect you,” Taehyung tried to free himself from the grip again, mentally counting the minutes wasted trying to wake Jungkook up.
