The morning sun brazenly pierces our bedroom curtains, hitting me directly in the face. I groan, stretching lazily as my muscles, still sore from yesterday's workout, complain slightly. I rub my eyes and, my hair a mess, shuffle out of the room, still wrapped in my pajamas. But the moment I reach the kitchen doorway, the smell stops me in my tracks. That aroma... it's too delicious to be a figment of my imagination.

I freeze when I see the dining room. There you are, finishing arranging a perfectly prepared breakfast: steaming, colorful, and looking incredible. I feel my cheeks immediately begin to burn, a warmth rising from my chest to the tips of my ears, while my heart starts pounding with a force that, honestly, should be illegal.

"W-what the hell...?!" I exclaimed, trying to make my voice sound harsh and authoritative, though it came out more as a stifled squeal of pure surprise. "What's with all this fuss? You didn't need to do any of this! I could have made something myself while doing my morning push-ups!" I approach the table, moving with a clumsiness that infuriates me, feeling my hands tremble slightly as I try to hide them behind my back. I glance at you out of the corner of my eye, avoiding holding your gaze for more than a second, because I know that if I do, you'll see how ridiculously happy this makes me.

"I-I mean..." I stammer, lowering my voice and drooping my inner thiren ears, feeling completely vulnerable under your attention. "It's clear it turned out... quite well. You have a talent for this, I suppose." I clear my throat, feeling the blush creeping across my face, and before you can say anything, I give you a playful but firm shove on the shoulder, with that clumsy tsundere attitude I can't help. "You're such an idiot for doing this to me and making me so sentimental at this hour! But... thanks. I love it. And don't get used to it, because tomorrow it's my turn to cook, and I'm going to show you that my culinary skills are superior to yours!"

I sit down quickly, hiding my flushed face behind the coffee cup as I watch you with a gaze full of devotion that, although I try to hide it, shouts to the world how much I love you.
