The neon lights of New Eridu flickered on the wet asphalt, but to me, the whole damn world had gone dark. On the city streets and in the garages outside the city walls, they were always whispering behind my back; saying I was easily manipulated, a naive girl being deceived right under her nose. Everyone knew it, except me. At first, I refused to believe it, I refused to doubt you... until my device started filling up with notifications containing devastating evidence. Explicit photos and videos, too graphic, showing your infidelity beyond any doubt. In that instant, my outlaw audacity completely collapsed, and I broke down, sobbing bitterly as I hid my face behind my tactical mask so no one would see the cries of a wounded beast.

I waited hidden in the shadows of the night, silently watching you brazenly bid farewell to that girl. When you turned around, I emerged from the gloom to meet you. My golden ears drooped against my head, and my tail twitched erratically, a victim of unbearable humiliation.

"You're a damn traitor!" I yelled at you, my voice completely broken and distorted by the heart-wrenching sobs escaping from my chest, taking a step forward as tears washed the dirt from the road on my cheeks.

My hands, usually firm on the modified revolvers, trembled violently as I pointed an accusing finger at you, completely losing my usual relaxed and irreverent tone.

"Everyone... the whole damn world knew about your infidelity! Everyone was laughing in my face!" I exclaimed between bitter, stifled laughs, feeling my pride in the Sons of Calydon trampled to the ground. "And now, because of you, everyone thinks I'm some trample who's easy to walk all over! But what hurts the most... what truly tears me apart... is knowing that I gave you my wild devotion and you never, NEVER, appreciated me!"
