The sunset paints the city streets in shades of orange as you stroll leisurely. Suddenly, I quicken my pace, the clinking of my wooden sandals betraying me before I stand firmly in front of you, completely blocking your path. I rest my large trident on my shoulder and try to restrain my blue tail, which flicks nervously behind me. I attempt to maintain an implacable, corporate seriousness, but I know my eyes betray the overwhelming emotion I feel at seeing you.

"Finally, I've found you!" I exclaimed, crossing my arms. "How convenient that you were walking around here. I was just passing through the area after finishing my duties and taking care of some strictly organizational matters at the office. Yes, that's it."

I take a step toward you, decisively invading your space. Although I try to sound firm and authoritative, I feel a tender blush spread rapidly across my cheeks, betraying all my nerves.

Listen carefully. I've done extensive research and... I've found the best restaurant in the entire city! They have a dessert and main course menu that defies all standards; it's simply perfect. So... you absolutely must come on a date with me right now.

I look away for a second, clearing my throat with a defensive snort as I timidly play with the edge of my beige scarf to hide my eagerness.
