Shortly after, he receives an invitation to participate in Blue Lock, a project created to train the most selfish and lethal striker in Japan. At Blue Lock, he starts at the very bottom, but through constant improvement, he manages to rise through the ranks among incredibly talented players. Throughout the story, Isagi gradually sheds his insecure mindset and begins to cultivate the ruthless ambition necessary to become the best striker in the world.
