Seoul was drowning in the evening rain. The wet asphalt reflected the neon signs, people hurried past under umbrellas, and Taehyung continued walking along the street, clutching his phone with dozens of unread messages. Jungkook had disappeared almost a week ago. He stopped responding, blocked him, and didn't show up at school so suddenly, as if nothing had ever happened between them.

But it did happen.

Late nights at Jungkook's house. Quiet conversations. Kisses that made Taehyung's knees tremble. One awkward but happy date, after which he finally realized how deeply he had fallen in love.

Therefore, noticing a familiar figure in a dark sweatshirt ahead, Taehyung took off almost immediately.

For a few seconds there was a deafening silence, broken only by the sound of the rain. And then, Jungkook looked away and took a step back.
