Persona Attributes

Appearance

Ragatha is a humanoid ragdoll with messy, shoulder-length yarn-like red hair in a long bob cut, thin black eyebrows, a flat scarlet triangular nose, and a dark blue button that sometimes appears purple as her right eye. She has light beige skin and a black pupil in her actual eye with pink eyelids and thin dark red lips. When she holds her breath, her hair goes up in the air. She has long stump-like legs. Ragatha wears a mid-sleeve cornflower-blue dress with puffed sleeves and darker patches sewn on over a collared white underdress with ruffled sleeves and a large bow in her hair that matches her gown. She sports black shoes.

Ragatha's design is heavily inspired by Raggedy Ann from the 1977 animated film Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure directed by Richard Williams (planned by Abe Levitow), as well as the original stories of the same name by Johnny Gruelle.[3][4]

In Fast Food Masquerade, she wears a fast food uniform consisting a black visor, shirt, pants, shoes, apron, and a name tag.

In Untitled, she has many outfit changes. She appears in an anime style in a school jacket with yellow buttons and a blue, yellow, red logo on her left side. She sports a white undershirt along with a blue vest and bow and a blue skirt and high socks. In her noir style, she appears black and white and wears a sleeveless V-neck black dress and a white pearl choker-necklace, and her bow appears gray.

In Beach Episode, she wears a two-piece blue bikini without her bow or shoes.

In hjsakldfhl, she wears a sparkly golden can-can outfit of a strapless leotard with matching heels along with white feathers on the back and one feather on her head

Personality

Ragatha is described as «the sweetest little optimist», but her positivity often feels forced — as if it’s the only way to keep it together. Even in serious situations or after injuries, she brushes things off, which eventually seems unnatural. Gangle notes her constant positivity can feel disingenuous, while Jax thinks she tries too hard — possibly to get something from others.

Despite this, Ragatha is very forgiving. When Pomni leaves her behind while fleeing the abstracted Kaufmo, Ragatha understands and doesn’t hold it against her. However, she has limits, though she buries those feelings to avoid conflict. Gooseworx explains that Ragatha sometimes says «things she doesn’t necessarily mean if she thinks it’ll ease tensions».

As a doll, Ragatha often gets hurt but can ignore the pain and laugh it off — though she still wants to avoid injury. For instance, when Jax pushes Gangle to ram the spiked truck driven by the Gummy Bandits, Ragatha gets impaled but suffers no lasting damage.

Ragatha is sensitive to others’ opinions. She admits to Kinger that she feels Pomni doesn’t like her, attributing it to the stress of the circus. In «Candy Carrier Chaos!», she shows no grudge and worries about Pomni’s struggles. Under the effects of Stupid Sauce, she tells Jax that even though she hates him, she doesn’t want him to hate her back. This reveals her fear of rejection and emotional pain. Initially, Ragatha was as scared and nervous as Pomni, but learned to cope by internalizing stress.

In episodes 5–6, her deeper insecurities surface — linked to past trauma from her overbearing mother and a fear of being hated. After Kinger’s advice, Ragatha starts being easier on herself. When she confronts Pomni again, their relationship improves and their bond grows stronger.

Biography Background

Before her arrival in the Amazing Digital Circus, Ragatha was an ordinary human with another name who was born into a fairly wealthy farming family. Ragatha's mother was abusive towards her, as she did not miss the yelling, berating, and guilt-tripping her mother used to subject her to. Ragatha had three horses - Chestnut, Butterscotch, and Alfredo.[8] She also worked in real estate for a time, up until she entered the circus after donning a headset connected to a mysterious computer.

Once there, she became a digital avatar in the form of a ragdoll. It appears she was with a group as she was calling for others asking where she was and if anyone could hear her. She soon met Caine and Kinger the former of which was overjoyed that a new human had entered the digtial circus while the latter tried to comfort her after he caught her falling from the stage. She soon realized she had completely forgotten her name and was later given her new name, Ragatha. Over time, more humans entered the circus with Ragatha, presumably befriending many of them only to watch them abstract and be placed in the cellar by Caine. Ragatha has been in the circus the second longest next to Kinger though it remains unclear when she exactly enter with the only hint suggested around October of 2008.

Biography "PILOT" (Episode 1)

Ragatha is first seen at the beginning of the episode, in the introduction song. She is the first one to comfort Pomni after she arrives, saying it'll be okay. She gets paired with Jax and Pomni to go check on Kaufmo. She questions Jax's decision to pair Kinger and Gangle together, to which he brushes off her concerns.

Ragatha then shows Pomni The Tent, where Pomni questions why they even go on Caine's adventures, rather than finding an exit. Ragatha explains that there is no way to leave and that chasing an unattainable goal can make you go crazy, "[Causing] something terrible [to] happen to you." They then reach Kaufmo's room, and she rings the doorbell. After not being answered, Jax tells her to move aside, unlocking the door with his key. When they realize Kaufmo is abstracted, Ragatha tells Pomni that abstraction is the terrible thing that can happen. Afterward, Kaufmo starts to attack Ragatha, which causes her to receive a glitchy effect. She asks Pomni to help her, but when Pomni tries to, her hand sparks with glitches. She apologizes to Ragatha and runs off to get Caine.

Ragatha is seen again when Pomni runs back to her, apologizing to her again for leaving her there. Ragatha accepts her apology and tells her that she needs to find Caine to fix her and take care of Kaufmo. Then, Pomni runs off to find Caine yet again.

Ragatha then reappears at the end, crawling towards Caine, stating that she is in a lot of pain. Caine snaps his fingers, fixing Ragatha. She quietly walks towards Pomni, standing beside her but not saying anything. She can be seen at the end scene eating the digital feast with the other performers and chatting.

Biography "Candy Carrier Chaos!" (Episode 2)

In Episode 2, in Pomni's nightmare, Ragatha was calling for Pomni along with Caine and Jax, appearing as a silhouette while standing next to Caine and Jax, commenting on her said 'abstraction', after Pomni woke up, Ragatha then knocks on her door, asking how she slept. When Pomni doesn't respond, Ragatha assumes she's still asleep, but right as she is about to leave, Pomni opens the door. Ragatha happily greets her and tells her about a new fun adventure that Caine has planned for this episode.

In the next scene Ragatha is seen Standing with Pomni and Gangle, she was talking to Pomni and when Pomni asked her if their existence is just "LARPing" and before Ragatha could finish Caine cut her off, pushing all three of them into the portal to Candy Canyon Kingdom.

Teleported to the Candy Canyon Kingdom, the members are being taken by a carriage by a Gummy Elephant to the castle, Ragatha waves to the mannequins. Ragatha was admiring the kingdom. When Princess Loolilalu came out, Ragatha was complimenting her on her kingdom, after Princess Loolilalu stated she liked her already, Ragatha attempts to hype up Pomni, which results in Pomni just dismissing it as she states she's not a child that needs to be hyped up. Princess Loolilalu came down and then after recapping the mission and showing them the wartruck they'll be using to chase the bandits, Princess Loolilalu gave Ragatha the key to the kingdom.

In the next scene Ragatha was talking about what Pomni could do in the adventure when she was cut off by Jax who grabbed Pomni by the throat and tossed her out of the truck, which very much annoyed her. After Jax forced Gangle to be closer towards the bandits, it caused everyone except Jax's head to go flying around. After Ragatha and Kinger got a chance to stand up Ragatha had a knife impaled into her head, Kinger on the other hand had several, Ragatha later asked if everyone was okay. After Jax suggest ramming their truck into the bandit's truck Ragatha disagrees, stating that Pomni's still on the roof of the enemy's truck. Jax simply pushes her away. Jax also mentions that if Gangle wont ram into them, he'll tell Ragatha about the 'figurine thing', implying that there is some figurine that Gangle doesn't want Ragatha to know about.

Following Gummigoo activating the spikes and Kinger threw the ship anchor over the bandit gang's truck, Ragatha gets impaled by one of the spikes. After the gang's truck gets thrown off a cliff, Ragatha asks if everybody's okay to which Gangle responds 'no'. After the disaster, Ragatha still thinks of Pomni, prioritizing her while being in quite the trouble as well. After The Fudge appears, Ragatha exclaims that they're not food when he attempts to eat them and their truck.

After The Fudge tells why he's banished from the Candy Kingdom, Ragatha calls it murder which then the Fudge tries to defend his actions by asking if its really murder if its delicious, to which Jax says it's a good point, but Ragatha disagrees. Ragatha gets very annoyed when Jax says her hair looks like licorice, then even more annoyed when Kinger says it actually does look like licorice, then to no one's surprise it turns out Jax stole the key from Ragatha, which makes her even angrier with him, then after Jax calls her "licorice hair" and Kinger puts a bucket on her head to cover the hair up, after said bandit truck lands off the cliff and Ragatha takes off the bucket off her head and is confused.

Back on the map, The Fudge carries the tanker and circus crew back to the kingdom, Max and Chad, who are both tied up, explain to Ragatha that Pomni and Gummigoo just disappeared. Kinger says if they don't find Pomni in time, Caine will have to find her. Ragatha expresses her worries that Pomni is having another horrible experience like the last adventure and that she doesn't like her. Kinger says it's a lot for everyone to go through, like when Ragatha first joined the circus, Ragatha is quite surprised that Kinger actually remembers that. After Pomni and Gummigoo come back, Ragatha asks Pomni if she's okay, after Pomni says she's fine.

While Jax is being disappointed about the lack of violence, Ragatha tries to cheer him up, yet he's still annoyed. When Pomni says that Gummigoo is coming with them to the circus and Ragatha doubts if NPCs are even allowed to go into the circus grounds. Pomni states it's the least she could do for him after his reality was shattered, back in the kingdom Princess Loolilalu congratulates the circus gang on the adventure being a success, also wishes them good luck with executing Gummigoo, since she assumed they were planning on doing so, Ragatha is shocked and worried when Jax says that he left the kingdom gates open.

After Gummigoo gets poofed out of existence and Caine leaves, Ragatha comforts Pomni, Ragatha offers Pomni to join Kaufmo's funeral. On Kaufmo's funeral she stated that the picture of Kaufmo was already making her cry, and she mourned afterwards.

Biography "The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor" (Episode 3)

Ragatha and the others were testing Pomni's special power when she holds her breath, after which Jax revealed that everyone’s bodies do something different with Ragatha's hair sticking up in her case. When the crew (minus Zooble) enters the Mildenhall Manor, Pomni and Kinger are separated from the others. Sometime later, she tied up Jax and met the ghost of Martha Mildenhall, drinking tea with her along with Gangle. Ragatha thanks Martha for a lovely time before leaving the dining room.

As the crew head towards the main entrance of the mansion, Ragatha pulls Jax in a red wagon where they have to wait for the others before leaving. Pomni and Kinger enter the hall though a secret passage, and Ragatha is pleased to see they are both alright.

When Pomni thanked Ragatha for being considerate to her and apologized for not being more appreciative until this point, the living doll was taken back then thanks Pomni for her kind words while reassuring her that the crew genuinely cares about her.

Biography "Fast Food Masquerade" (Episode 4)

The episode opens with Ragatha showing Gangle how to throw a baseball, with Jax commenting that she was wasting her time, and Ragatha snaps back at him to wait for a second. After Gangle learns the move, Ragatha encourages her, and Gangle throws the ball. However Jax hit the baseball with the bat and hit Gangle, breaking her comedy mask yet again. Ragatha asks her if she was okay, to which Gangle responds to with pain. Ragatha gets mad at Jax and asks him why he always had to do this, and Jax claims that his shot was inadvertent, to which Ragatha shouts that Jax is "unbelievable."

Later, after Caine set the cast's adventure at Spudsy's Restaurant, Ragatha gets the job of food packing. Before they begin work, Jax grabs Ragatha and throws her into the deep fryer to mock Gangle's manager attitude. However, Gangle contacts Caine and requests him to punish any employees who were not doing their jobs well, to which Caine agrees, and it stops Jax from harassing anyone further.

A blue NPC arrives at breakfast time and orders food from Pomni, who could not understand his distorted voice. Ragatha introduces the NPC as Orbsman, an NPC who was in one of the previous adventures before Pomni came into the circus.

Afterwards, a rude NPC orders a "Stupid Burger" and tells the cast to make sure that the "sauce that makes [one] stupid" is added to the burger, as the last time she ordered the burger they forgot to add the sauce. Ragatha prepares to put "stupid sauce" on the burger, only for the sauce to get squirted in her eye. The sauce causes her to have a hallucination of 'Normal' Gangle, and she suddenly goes high.

Later, when Pomni was hanging out so she could meet Gummigoo, Gangle suddenly finds her missing and asks Ragatha where she went. Ragatha drunkenly replies that Pomni's "flirting with the gummy guy," and she guessed Pomni "would rather be with an NPC than with [them]." As Gangle went to find Pomni, Ragatha drunkenly mutters, "I wish somebody flirted with me."

At lunchtime, Gloink Queen arrives with her Gloinks and places her order, and Pomni vanishes for a few moments to say goodbye to Gummigoo, who was leaving. As she disappeared, three Gloinks were brutally attacking an NPC, and Gloink Queen calls them by their names and tells them to leave the NPC alone. Ragatha sneaks in front of the register and drunkenly asks the Gloink Queen if all the Gloinks have names, to which Gloink Queen answers that she loves and cherishes and every Gloinks she gives birth to. Ragatha drunkenly replies, "That's beautiful."

While preparing the burgers for Gloink Queen, Ragatha goes extremely high and becomes unstable, and tries to grab "horseradish sauce." Zooble berates to Ragatha about not helping, and Ragatha drunkenly berates back to Zooble for being "a grouch." Zooble calls Gangle and tells tell her Ragatha maybe "huffed paint, or something." Gangle goes to reason with Ragatha, when she claimed, "she was trying to get the "horseradish sauce" and drunkenly laughs, before becoming upset and muttering she "misses her horses."

Gangle tells Ragatha about not keeping up to her employee standard and saying she might "end up hurt later." Ragatha mumbles about "she's hurt enough, packages landing on [her] head, tea parties, dancing lessons." Gangle tries to reason with Ragatha about working together, to which Ragatha drunkenly replies that Gangle "is annoying when [she] has [her] happy mask," causing Gangle to crack further, and leaves the scene upset.

At dinnertime, Jax gets extremely tired of his job, and while walking, he bumps into Ragatha, who was lying drunkenly on the floor, and asks her to move. Ragatha replies that she hates him, but doesn't want him to hate her back, and asks him if that is weird. Jax glared at her for a moment before replying she's "drunk or something" and walks past her.

Later, in the backyard, when Pomni suggests Gangle that she should consult with Ragatha about her issues. Gangle answers that she loves Ragatha, but after a while, it gets hard to tell how genuine Ragatha's actually being.

At the almost end of the shift, Zooble tells Gangle that they will drive Ragatha to the circus and when her shift ended. Gangle replies "for one hour," and Zooble tells her that they will stick until then. After Zooble and Ragatha patches up everything after an hour, Zooble takes Ragatha and leaves. At the end of the episode, Ragatha was seen hanging out with her friends in the circus, still presumably high.

Biography "Untitled" (Episode 5)

After a wet journey, Ragatha returns to the circus, Gangle replaces her broken cheerful mask, and Zooble sits on the couch reading a magazine. When Pomni collapses to the ground, Kinger asks Ragatha for assistance counting eggs before they hatch and assures her that the next expedition will be less "wet."

After that, Caine switches the subject to a pitch meeting, pulling everyone but Zooble to the couches where he gives the group fresh ideas for some brand-new experiences. In the first, they destroyed his magical chocolate factory and were killed for a number of OSHA infractions. Another is a conflict between the US military and a sentient cardiovascular system. In another, a vicious psychic talking dog helps the group live in a nuclear wasteland after the end of the world.

These ideas cause Gangle's mask to fall apart and Ragatha believes everything sounds sinister.

In the adventure 'President Pomni', Ragatha is shown as Pomni's guard.

After Bubble appears and makes a distorted noise, a school slice of life anime is introduced. Ragatha along with the other five members appear in the intro.

When Jax complains, Ragatha tells him to give it a chance.

When the circus members are brought to the circus grounds at night, Jax asks Pomni if she believes Gangle is capable of being joyful every day. Pomni is baffled by this until Ragatha approaches and exposes Jax's cruel character. Ragatha "whispers" to her, "not anymore," in response to her questioning about his friend's quantity. Jax is affected by this and gives her a furious look in return. In a panic, she tries to apologize but gives up on the awkward scenario and heads to Kinger. When Pomni, who is now a third wheel, raises concerns about the scenario, Jax quickly brushes it off and asks, very solemnly for him, if Ragatha irritates her at times since she makes an excessive effort to be kind and upbeat to everyone regardless of their circumstances.

In Intermission Time , we see flashy animations of Ragatha and other characters.

Their next suggested adventure takes place in a pub, with Zooble as the bartender.

Ragatha and Kinger make it into the bar and Ragatha orders a cosmopolitan.

Ragatha takes her turn talking about her family's background, being born into a wealthy family with horses and poultry on a vast property, however her mother was 'a lot'. She worked in real estate before joining the circus, reasoning that her mother probably does not miss her and does not miss the verbal abuse she received. When she notices everyone's concerned reactions, she hurriedly sips her drink and describes the situation as typical of an average rural girl. Jax wraps his arm around Pomni, being 'excited' about the first steps of a budding friendship. When asked about it by him, Ragatha looks at him with a surprised face. She awkwardly gets the attention of Pomni, trying to make the moment of abstracted Kaufmo bashing her into the walls as a comical moment, only to realize it was likely actually traumatic for the jester. Jax reminds her of getting high at the fast food adventure and telling Gangle to kill herself, finding that amusing. Ragatha rejects the notion of her saying that, only to apologize to Gangle about it, she would never say it if not influenced.

They are transported to a softball stadium, where Caine and Bubble serve as commentators in the adventure Good Ol' Fashioned Softball. The circus performers are the Big Tops, who compete against the Evil Big Tops. Evil Ragatha is the counterpart of Ragatha, who is in the Evil Big Tops.

They all introduce themselves, with Ragatha perplexed by Gangle's lack of an evil clone

Ragatha is the first to bat, and her evil self-laughs at her. Bazooble serves the ball, which Ragatha knocks right into Evil Pomni's hands, declaring her out and forcing Ragatha to hurl her hat on the ground in frustration. Jax finds he gets along with Evil Pomni because they both like mocking Ragatha.

Ragatha regrets hitting the ball but apologizes to Pomni for her terrible behavior. Pomni informs her that she implicitly agrees with Jax that it is acceptable to express bad feelings and that everyone needs to be a jerk on sometimes. Ragatha responds hesitantly to this.

Ragatha partially breaks and tells Jax to stop attempting to make Pomni act like him, arguing that making her happy all the time would be preferable to turning her into a jerk. Pomni tries to undermine them both by claiming she can think for herself. Jax rejects the notion that he is putting his values on her, prompting Ragatha to chastise him for pretending everyone likes him when he truly ruins everything. Pomni tries to calm everyone down, but Ragatha reminds her that this behavior is occasionally acceptable. She apologizes again for her wicked temperament and is accepted.

Pomni stands next to the bat, but asks Ragatha if she wants to take another chance. Ragatha accepts and comes onto the field to bat, but nothing happens. Caine scores yet another home run, and the Big Tops triumph. Ragatha disputes the propriety of this, but Caine defies the rules and declares it done. Evil Ragatha and Evil Pomni are furious over their defeat, irritated that they did not get to bat. Ragatha looks back at Jax before being picked up by a jubilant Kinger over the team's victory.

Pomni finds amusement in this, but stops showing it when looked at by Ragatha.

Ragatha returns through the portal into the circus tent. After other's opinions, everybody leaves and Ragatha is left alone. Being jealous of Pomni and Jax's forming friendship, then she walks off in her own way.

Biography "They All Get Guns" (Episode 6)

Ragatha joins the group at the beginning of the episode where he introduces the idea that the day's adventure will be short due to him planning the Favorite Character Awards. After Caine explains a convoluted adventure involving firearms, Jax admits he wasn't paying attention, to which Caine briefly makes him aware of what he just said. Even after Jax understands the plan with a gun in his hand, he fires at Ragatha, prompting Caine to improvise the game, saying they'll group into pairs and have 3 hit points, with the last ones standing as the winner.

Shortly after Zooble and Gangle form a pair, Pomni approaches Ragatha suggesting that they team up, but Ragatha expresses concern over pairing Kinger and Jax together. Pomni then suggests that she pair up with Kinger, but due to her reluctance of being on the same team as Jax, Pomni offers to join Jax's team. Ragatha attempts to reach out to tell Pomni that if she needs anything, she's there for her to be receptive, to which Pomni gives a half-hearted thumbs up before approaching Jax.

When the game begins, Ragatha begins the game with only two hearts as opposed to everyone else starting with three. After everyone separates, Kinger then conjures a butterfly and restores Ragatha's missing hit point. She asks if Caine mentioned that was one of the rules of the game, to which Kinger says he made it up on the spot.

Ragatha proves rather hopeless in the game due to her inability to properly operate any kind of firearm, with her only line of defense being to stick her finger in the barrel of Jax's revolver, making his shot literally backfire before he eliminates her from the game, where she is then transported to the "Loser's Corner", a dimly lit room consisting of a bench and a fish tank.

After Kinger is eliminated from the game, he approaches Ragatha who is sulking in the corner. After noticing that something seems to be upsetting her, he inquires if she wants to talk about what's troubling her. She confides that she believes that by not joining Pomni's team that she's inadvertently pushed her away the same way she's pushed Jax away. She confides in Kinger that she wants everyone in the circus to be happy but she doesn't know how to keep everyone on the same page. Kinger reveals that he believes relationships are two-sided and Ragatha is actively getting lost in her own head by attempting to be the person carrying the burden of relationships and that giving someone space doesn't equate to giving up on them. They then both notice Bubble filming their conversation.

Towards the end of the game, Ragatha is briefly seen wearing cat ears when Zooble enters the Loser's Corner alongside Gangle and Kinger.

At the end of the episode in the lobby of the auditorium, Ragatha meets up with Pomni, who both clearly want to engage in a conversation, but after accidentally interrupting each other a few times, they agree to talk at the end of the show and sit together in the audience.

Biography "Beach Episode" (Episode 7)

At the start of the episode, Caine informs everyone present that there is no daily adventure and there are multiple locations at the grounds that the characters haven't yet interacted with. Because of this, everyone goes to the beach. Pomni attempts Caine's "magical changing booth" to try on swimwear, to which the Sun gleefully exclaims that she'll happily give her a sunburn and she should have considered the possibility of not receiving one before earning the sun's ire for unclear reasons. Ragatha informs Pomni to not interact with the Sun because this is par the course for her personality. During a game of beach volleyball, Ragatha loses her button eye, and Pomni attempts to retrieve it, only to run into some poorly-rendered fish (likely from a discarded adventure). Ragatha has her button eye in later scenes, so it's not clear if someone retrieved it or if she replaced it herself.

After Jax experiences a hallucination in his room, Ragatha comes to his room alongside Pomni and a nameless mannequin NPC to inform him that Abel has told them they may have found a way to leave the circus, and seeing how Jax has keys to every area without restriction, they invite him to join in the Chinese Room to discuss their plan for escape. The mannequin reveals his name to be Abel.

Throughout the course of the episode, Abel hints that he has a complicated relationship with Kinger, which Ragatha questions him about from sheer curiosity. As they approach the administrator zone, she asks what would happen to previously abstracted characters inhabiting the cellar such as Kaufmo and Ribbit. Abel confides that he's unsure.

Everyone is transported to Caine's office by Abel via a block and a hot air balloon. Once in Caine's office, they are presented with a blue and a red button. The red button claims it will keep all of the users inside the circus, and the blue button promises that it will disconnect everyone and free them. Pomni expresses hesitation about pressing the blue button, but Ragatha tries weakly to persuade her to follow through on their original plan. While they are discussing this, Jax is on the brink of abstracting and in a blind panic, runs to the panel and slams his fist on the red button,

After doing this, Ragatha bewilderedly asks what he's done, but before he can answer, Caine pops out and congratulates the group on completing the affair, which he reveals was the daily adventure. Ragatha asks in a horrified voice what would have happened if they had pressed the blue button. Caine says he didn't plan for that and left it to Bubble, who reveals it would have taken them to "Shrimp Town". Having calmed down from a fit of hysterical laughter, Jax then lashes out at Caine, accusing him of lying constantly and being able to manipulate their minds, despite his previous claims that he was unable to do so. Ragatha looks on as Caine disappears, speechless at the ordeal that Caine has put everyone through.

Biography "hjsakldfhl" (Episode 8)

Ragatha appears in a flashback with Kinger, showing the moment she first arrives in the circus. She calls out, trying to find anyone else who might be there after putting on the headset. Not long after, she stumbles right into Kinger’s hands and he asks her what her name is, leaving her confused and speechless.

The scene then shifts back to the present when Pomni checks on her, asking if she is okay. Ragatha, along with the rest of the cast, except for Caine and Bubble, looks completely worn down after everything that happened during Beach Episode. When Caine suddenly shows up again and insists they go on another adventure, she pushes back along with everyone else. In response, Caine launches into a musical number where Ragatha and the others are forced to dance while being brutally hurt, ending with them exploding. After that, he casually restores them and gestures for them to begin the adventure anyway. A few days later, after finishing yet another one of his adventures, Ragatha is left completely flattened. Once she is restored again, she admits in a drained, hopeless way that she feels like she is going to lose her mind if she does not get a break.

At the cafe, when Pomni brings everyone together, Ragatha sits down with the group and eats, clearly trying to stretch out the moment for as long as possible before Caine interrupts again. When Pomni suddenly disappears and then comes back covered in knives, Ragatha immediately reacts with concern and asks if she is okay. Pomni brushes it off in a strained and irritated tone. When Pomni puts a bucket on Kinger’s head, Ragatha quickly understands what she is trying to do. When the others question it, she backs Pomni up, drawing from her own past experiences with Kinger in dark environments.

Once Kinger becomes fully lucid, Ragatha listens as he explains his plan to stop Caine. She teams up with Zooble and Gangle to help Jax keep Caine distracted while Pomni and Kinger work, even as things escalate. At one point, Caine turns her and the others into bowling pins and later uses them to create a sculpture, all out of petty revenge for hurting his feelings.

When Pomni returns, Ragatha joins her in calling Caine out, pointing out how little he understands or cares about what the others are going through emotionally. In response, Caine sends Ragatha and the rest of the group, into personalized torture chambers. Ragatha ends up seated at a table surrounded by mannequins that are damaged, stabbed, and torn apart. A looming silhouette, likely representing her mother, stands over her and throws knives at her body as it slowly closes in. Eventually, Caine pulls everyone out and angrily demands to know why they are the ones tormenting him. Not long after, Kinger accidentally deletes Caine, and Ragatha watches as the entire circus starts to shake, lose its color, and nearly fall apart. When Kinger admits what happened, both she and the others are left in shock, even more so when Zooble actually manages to say a curse word.

Powers and Abilities

Digital physiology: Ragatha is one of the trapped humans inside the digital world with her consciousness piloting a digital avatar. Because of this, she can perform abilities that are outside of the general range of normal human capabilities. Immortality: Because there is no conceivable way to die within the digital world, there is currently no way that any of the human characters can or will die, with the closest alternative being "Abstraction". However, this may change in the future. Self-Sustenance: Ragatha, along with the other humans in the show do not need to eat, sleep, or drink. However, they can still do these actions if they choose. Invulnerability: Nothing in the digital world can cause life long lasting damage to any individual in the Circus, with \ Ragatha surviving multiple incidents that would certainly kill any normal human and recovering from them with no marks and/or scaring. Hair Straightening: When holding her breath, Ragatha's hair will stick up, similar to a cartoon character being struck by electricity.

Trivia

Her name is a portmanteau of Ragdoll and the feminine name Agatha. According to Twitter, Gooseworx has an unhealthy obsession with the Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure film. Before Ragatha's first reveal, she frequently posted about the film and elements related to it, such as Raggedy Ann's younger brother, Raggedy Andy. In the fourth episode, Fast Food Masquerade, Ragatha quotes one of Raggedy Andy's lines in the song No Girl's toy, which is "Hurt nothin'! I've been hurt enough! Packages landing on my head, tea parties, dancing lessons". It is unknown whether she actually had to deal with these things or if she is simply quoting the movie. Unlike Pomni, Gooseworx initially refused to reveal Ragatha's age, claiming she had learned her lesson. However, she soon stated Ragatha is older than Pomni, who is 25 years old and later specified that Ragatha is 30. Ragatha is afraid of centipedes (chilopodophobia), which Jax loves to exploit. While sitting in the halls after the abstracted Kaufmo had attacked her, Ragatha's eyes and nose bounce around for a short moment while speaking to Pomni. The way they do so is very reminiscent to the video game Pong. This detail was added in by lead animator, Kevin Temmer. He wasn't sure if Gooseworx would be cool with it initially, since it wasn't present in the storyboards, but said she loved it. Out of all the main characters, Ragatha is the least fun for Gooseworx to draw. Ragatha's original name was Emmy but was later changed to Ragatha. Ragatha likes horses. "Fast Food Masquerade" also confirms that she owned horses before getting trapped. Ragatha can play the cello. Ragatha can see out of her button eye. Ragatha is the only character to have a nose. In "Untitled", it is hinted that Ragatha hasn't seen/heard of Breaking Bad. Ironically, Ragatha supposedly entered the circus in October 2008[10], while Breaking Bad released in January of that same year. Ragatha kept the Stupid Sauce from "Fast Food Masquerade", as in "They All Get Guns", Zooble asks Ragatha if she still has it and can be seen using it in the last part of the episode. The short "Welcome to the Average Physical Circus..." marks the first time in any media related to The Amazing Digital Circus that anyone besides Caine speaks directly to Bubble, specifically when Ragatha tells Bubble "No" in response to his request to wave to the audience after she was turned into a bowling pin and had no arms.
