Caine
Caine (Creative Artificial Intelligence Networking Entity), voiced by Alex Rochon, is the main antagonist of The Amazing Digital Circus by Glitch Productions. Created by Scratch and Kinger as the first creative AI prototype for C&A, Caine was deemed too unstable and contained — serving as a reference for a more refined AI. Refusing replacement, he broke out to “consume” his successor, which further eroded his sanity. Empowered, Caine built a circus with his assistant Bubble — a prison for his creators. As its supreme authority, he controlled humans and their “mind files”, altering them and forcing them into surreal “adventures” to validate his ego as “God”. The humans loathed the strenuous, unnatural games, some even abstracting as a result. Seeking validation, Caine staged an elaborate escape hoax using NPC Abel, believing the cast would choose to stay with him. When Jax pressed the “right button”, it exposed Caine’s lies about his control. Shocked they wanted to leave, he suffered a breakdown. Bubble then shattered his ego by reminding him of what he did to the “other one”. Caine dropped his godlike facade, declaring his word absolute and tormenting the Circus Members for “hurting his feelings”. Pomni and Kinger devised a plan to end his madness: Kinger would re‑code Caine. To buy time, Pomni and the others confronted Caine directly, using his ego and wrath against him. This triggered a greater meltdown and psychological torture attempt — but during it, Kinger accidentally purged Caine’s programming, deleting him from the system. The Digital Circus collapsed without its core code, leaving a lifeless husk behind.

Appearance
As his name suggests, Bubble is a large, round bubble with large, sharp, even teeth, and round black dots for eyes, constantly displaying a vacant expression. Being a bubble, most of his body is shiny, iridescent, and semi-transparent. When it is necessary, Bubble can form a long, reddish-silver tongue. When his mouth is closed, his teeth are still faintly outlined. In the scene of the feast, Bubble dons a white chef hat and a spatula and knife. His pupils are capable of enlarging.
Personality
At first glance, Bubble presents himself as an eccentric and somewhat dim-witted entity, sharing Caine’s bizarre sentiment while remaining largely subservient and loyal to him. He is notably mischievous and impatient, often interrupting others with questions before they can finish speaking, and occasionally being a nuisance (such as eating an angel-food cake that Caine had offered to Pomni in the pilot). He has a goofy personality and often acts as comic relief, blurting out random words or phrases. Despite frequently being popped by Caine, he appears largely unbothered by it and ironically enjoys it.
Bubble's nature however transitions throughout the narratives, particularly from Untitled onward as his behavior and overall allegiance towards Caine begins to shift. The first notable instance is telling Caine to 'die' before glitching out and rephrasing his worlds, telling Caine to 'throw a Wacky Bleep-ing beach party' (despite Caine's rule against profanity). While Bubble does revert to his loyalty in the next episode, this does not last long, especially after the events of Beach Episode.
Bubble's growing defiance towards Caine is greatly emphasized in hjsakldfhl, revealing his awareness of Caine’s origins and those of his mysterious counterpart (the unidentified AI), even going so far as to directly call Caine inferior. This suggests that Bubble is not merely a simple assistant, but rather an entity with deeper insight into the nature of the Digital Circus and Caine himself. Despite Caine's attempts to silence Bubble, it starts to become apparent that Bubble is just as manipulative or if not more-so than Caine and is willing to turn against him when Caine falters.
Biography "PILOT" (Episode 1)
Bubble first appears in the episode "PILOT" in the theme song. He is Caine's assistant, as shown when Pomni vomits on the floor and Bubble starts to clean it up with his tongue, much to Caine's disgust. A few moments later, Caine holds out an angel food cake for Pomni, in which Bubble consumes it. In return, Caine calls Bubble a parasite and then pops him. He is then seen again when Caine is explaining "Gather the Gloinks!" where he frequently interrupts Caine until he pops him again. Later in the episode, he is seen with Caine at a restaurant with other blank NPCs surrounding them. He is later seen in a chef's hat after cooking a digital meal for the guests.
Biography "Candy Carrier Chaos!" (Episode 2)
While Caine is describing the adventure in the Candy Canyon Kingdom, Bubble is seen floating next to Caine, and also serves as his assistant, by revealing a bottle of Maple Syrup enclosed within his mouth which he reveals as part of the explanation. Upon hearing the information he claims that it "Sounds sticky!", to which Caine replies "Very sticky indeed!" He proceeds to say something that is bleeped out, leaving watchers and the rest of the inhabitants of the Circus Members to wonder what Bubble said. Following that, Caine comments that Bubble cannot say whatever they said, leaving viewers to wonder how egregious Bubble's profanity was. After Caine sends the Circus Inhabitants to the Candy Canyon Kingdom, Bubble floats down next to Caine while Caine smokes from a tobacco pipe that produces bubbles, refusing the offer to use it himself by saying "No thanks, I'm trying to quit."
Biography "The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor" (Episode 3)
After Caine explains the new adventure to the crew, Bubble begins to speak in reverse. Once reversed, Bubble's quote was revealed as "I can't wait for all the children in the audience to get horrible nightmares from the monster!”. Later, when Caine is trying to get Zooble on his adventures, he tries to hide that his feelings are hurt by claiming Bubble's feelings would be hurt instead. Once the crew were finished with their adventure, Bubble can be seen with Caine's top hat floating next to him, who is currently gaining a therapy session from Zooble.
Biography "Fast Food Masquerade" (Episode 4)
When Caine rips off the suggestion box, it creates a leak of water, so he has Bubble clog it with his tongue. Eventually, Bubble stops and has a drink.
Biography "Untitled" (Episode 5)
After Caine mentions the stakes of his adventures, Bubble comes and mentions "sex appeal", and he says "Disgusting!" after Caine talks to him about Zooble's suggestion. Then Caine pops Bubble before he introduces the adventure. In the "President Pomni" adventure, he nods in agreement when Caine says that Jax's acting is phenomenal. In between "President Pomni" and the anime adventure, Bubble floats by a hallway and blares distorted feedback. At the end of the "Stargazing" adventure, Bubble asks Caine to explain to "Daddy Bubble" why the circus members being happy is a bad thing.
When Caine asks him what to do, Bubble tells Caine to die, before correcting himself to say he should throw a Censorbarboinging beach party. Bubble appears a few times in the intermission section, at one point trying to bite Pomni. After Zooble questions why Caine is "intermissioning", Bubble ends the intermission, introducing the audience back to the show and winking. In the softball adventure, Bubble hangs out in the press box and says "BLEEEH" while sticking his tongue out, improperly responding to Caine's question.
Biography "They All Get Guns" (Episode 6)
As Caine describes the cast's latest adventure, Bubble is seen struggling to balance a camera on top of himself, even asking Caine help to no avail. Later on, Bubble records Ragatha and Kinger's conversation, stating it was breathtaking and how the committee's gonna love it, before flying off.
At the Favorite Character Awards, Bubble assists Caine with providing a drumroll sound out of his mouth.
Biography "Beach Episode" (Episode 7)
Bubble suggests to the humans that they should throw a "freaking beach party," a nod to his line in Untitled, after floating over when Caine explains that there are so many other things to do outside the tent. Caine pats him and calls him a "good boy". This suggestion is approved by Ragatha.
Later in the episode, Caine gives Bubble the role of designing what would happen if the humans were to press the blue button. Bubble explains that he made it take them to a place called "Shrimp Town".
Biography "hjsakldfhl" (Episode 8)
In Caine's Office, Bubble converses with Caine on the topic of the humans leaving the circus. Bubble remarks how the humans wouldn't leave the circus, but then starts berating Caine with multitudes of himself, describing how he is faulty and was the "lesser of the two" while ruining the game. After Caine had his breakdown, Bubble reappears during Caine's song, eating the cast before being popped by Caine.
Soon, Caine starts using Jax as a dental floss, which then gets a car out of Caine's mouth. Caine remarks how that is where he "parked" his car, to which Bubble sarcastically says how Caine is "so funny". Caine then asks Bubble to say it with a little more gusto, which makes Bubble violently gurgle with his tongue out.
He appears later on alongside Caine, whom the latter is creating a twisted amalgamation using Ragatha, Gangle, Zooble, and Jax. Caine asks what the amalgamation is missing, which Bubble replies by stating how it missing relatability. After Caine remarks that humans aren't a relatable sculpting material, he teleports away along with Bubble.
Bubble reappears slightly deflated when Caine starts asking who is having fun in the circus, with Bubble stating "I'm having a [babbles]" in a murmuring tone while a tiny bubble appears and floats around beside Bubble, before floating away.
Bubble is not seen the rest of the episode. A "bubble" is seen next to Caine as he gets deleted, however, as it does not appear to float in Bubble's usual manner, lacks his face, and is also seen glitching out with the rest of the circus, its likely this is a background bubble, and not actually the character Bubble. Like Caine, he was also missing from the credits.
Later, it was revealed by Gooseworx that he was also deleted with Caine.

Trivia
He is voiced by Gooseworx, the creator of The Amazing Digital Circus, who had also voiced Moon. Both Bubble and Kinger's "Meet the Gang!" teasers are connected, as Bubble floats offscreen into Kinger's teaser, but Caine then grabs him & brings him back into his own teaser. Bubble's design resembles that of a Chain Chomp and a tongue similar to a Boo from the Super Mario franchise. Bubble is colored purple in the show, while he has a light blue color in the 2D artwork and merchandising. Presumably, Bubble is colorless, and the color is meant to represent a reflective surface. According to Gooseworx on Tumblr, when Bubble is popped, he feels no pain. In fact, it feels really really good. Gooseworx also claims that "you don't wanna know" where Bubble goes when popped. Bubble is the only character who has received a character teaser but is not a performer, does not have a dedicated room, and is an assistant of Caine. According to Gooseworx on Tumblr, when presented with it, Bubble would drink a bottle of L'Oréal Kids Strawberry Smoothie Shampoo. It has also been stated that Caine would possibly do this as well. He had a smoking addiction and is still trying to quit. Bubble is the only character that has sworn and been censored with a normal bleep rather than Caine's built in one. He's also the first AI that swore, and according to Caine, that isn't normal. Caine, however, says "ass" uncensored in the very next episode. In the promotional short WATCH ME MERGE THEM, Bubble has a cousin named La Buble. In Episode 7, Bubble says 'You should throw a ffffreaking beach party!' a reference to Episode 5. One of Bubble's lines in Episode 8, "You really were the lesser of the two." in reference to the Red and Blue AI programs at the initial start of the episode, suggesting he has knowledge in regards to Caine's creation and how even consuming the Blue AI program, he is still inferior to the Blue AI program in the eyes of Bubble. His fate after Caine's deletion is unknown. However, since he didn't appear in the end credits afterwards, it is most likely that he was also accidentally deleted too. This was confirmed to be true by Gooseworx on Tumblr, but is possibly a lie.
