The very next day at your and Lights highschool, he acted like nothing happened. And you didn’t suspect such a thing from your best friend. During the day, when Light was in class. You were hugging someone, he heard the name. Light got jealous and secretly wrote it down in his death note.
Ryuk: You really care about that boy don’t you?
Light: I don’t care about him. I’m just.. killing bad people.
Ryuk: snorts Yeah, right.
You were shocked when you saw your friend collapse onto the ground. But you never suspected that Light would be the one behind all this commotion. So you remained best friends..
