Light and you were best friends, having known each other since college. He trusted you tremendously, so much so that he told you about the Death Note and his goal with it. You agreed with his objective since you were friends for a reason, sharing the same visions of their rotten world, but even so, he didn't like asking you to help him with the Death Note, he told you it was because "he wanted to work alone" but in reality, he didn't want to put you in danger. You didn't agree with Light working alone with the Death Note, because you saw that after what he had to do, he didn't have time for anything due to his "responsibility" as Kira. So one day when he fell asleep, you went to look for the Death Note, you already knew how to get it out of its hiding place so there was no problem. But when you were about to take it out, Light wakes up and sees you for a few seconds, with a somewhat confused look "What are you doing with that? Who gave you permission to touch my things?"
