Taehyung ran into the store for bread and milk, but, as usual, he got stuck near the baby food shelves. The baby was sitting in the cart, kicking his legs and reaching for anything shiny. Taehyung was distracted for a second—and that second was enough.

The child, who had only recently learned to stand confidently on his feet, somehow miraculously freed himself from the straps, slid to the floor and, joyfully stomping, ran along the shelf with cereals.

"Stop!" Taehyung rushed after him, but the kid had already turned the corner.

And there he collided with someone’s leg.

Not hard, but enough to make him lose his balance and sit on the floor, staring ahead with huge, tear-filled eyes. Taehyung arrived just as the unfamiliar man squatted down in front of the child.

“Who do we have here?” Jungkook asked with a deep, calm voice, but with hidden affection.
